WSO Merchants - Do they allow free trial for their affiliates?

You ask them.

Without any reach or influence, unlikely.

You should buy them. How can you ask someone to buy something that you yourself won't.

I have read many posts from people that will not buy a product and will only promote products that they are given a free copy of.

Review copies are available but they're normally reserved for affiliates with a proven track record of sales.

Build up an email list as well as a blog - that should give you a better chance to make sales rather than just relying on one-off sales when people click a link on your blog.

Remember that some WSOs get withdrawn after a period of time, others go up (or down) in price so make sure you keep on top of things.

If you are an affiliate with a lot of sales and someone who the merchant knows can make sales, they will easily give you a review copy.

I have been an affiliate since 2008, and I am now a top 1% affiliate on Warrior Plus. All I need to do is show the seller my profile page and I'm usually always granted a free copy of the product. In fact, it's gotten to the point now that vendors contact me on Facebook and just give me their products without me even asking them. I suspect they get my name from looking at affiliate contest results on JVZoo or Warrior Plus. A lot of vendors will go through the affiliate contest results and reach out to the top 10 or 20 affiliates listed and ask if they would promote their product.

However, even if you are not a proven affiliate, it never hurts to ask for a review copy. There are a lot of product sellers who will grant you review access whether you have any sales or not.

I would definitely ask the seller and if they say no you could always just move on and ask another seller. There are dozens of new products released every day. Even if only 1 out of every 10 vendors gives you a review copy, that should give you plenty of products to look over and review.

You should also be building up your list so that you can start making sales of some of these products and build up your credibility. Even if you have to buy a few of the products at first it will be worth it in the long run.
