Fiverr.com for marketing?

What exactly are you looking for?
-Facebook Ads
-Comments, likes...
-FB Store sales
-FB video marketing
etc.

A general rule of thumb with social media is not to purchase any type of engagement. People are obsessed with engagement metrics such as page likes that, unfortunately, on Fiverrr are usually bots which will never equals sales.

It is, yes. The trick: make gig requests.

Most marketers poo-poo Fiverr as a viable means of traffic generation but only because they don't know how to leverage Fiverr to their advantage.

What is Fiverr, after all, but a means of vendors accepting money in exchange for products and services? Certainly, some gigs will be useless.

But not all.

And the trick - you stipulate the gig parameters in the form of a request. That way, quite literally, you get what you pay for. And if you know WHAT to pay for - you typically won't go wrong.

Fiverr is just so big you need to screen and qualify people first. Yeah there is a lot of crap out there on fiverr but there is also good gigs.

Find people who are doing what you want on Facebook and ask them questions to qualify if their gig will work for you or not. Still not a promise but your researching at the moment. Keep a file with a list of the people you deal with...

What do you want to your facebook page? To increase fans, engagement or increase traffic to website? I don't think you should buy it on Fiverr. Instead of that, you should run the Facebook ads by yourself, it's better than outsource on others. If you run FB ads by your own, you can control budget, optimize your campaign in order to meet your goals. I hope this help

Thanks for the responses everyone, I am looking at it as a means to get lot of likes for a facebook business page. I have tried the actual facebook marketing through facebook as well, I am aware of that. I have also used Fiverr before for various services and agree its hit or miss. I haven't really utilized it much for marketing purposes, All I know at this point is my client wants to see alot of likes so when new people come to his page he already looks like a well established business (he only has 7 likes right now) as it pertains to the internal fb marketing from my experience if I let it run a week it may get him up to about 30 likes, but its still not alot.

He wants sticky likes. (Easy for you.) It's a psychological effect. You arrive at a page with 5,000 likes, it must be worth a like from you, right? You can get these cheap off Fiverr, OP. The alternative is to pay more and get quality likes but your client doesn't appear to want that. (He'd be better off, of course.) The problem you'll have is getting social exchange generated likes, which will drop off and pee off your client. Avoid 'em. Instead, get real likes from people who actually expose the client page to their own audience platforms. You'll pay slightly more, wait a bit longer, but you'll cut drop-off likes by an unholy amount and give your client decent quality in the bargain.

Yes. There are some good writers you can use there if you are doing some sort of blogging work.

A few years back I wanted to get some blog articles done and looked at a few sources such as hirewriter and fiverr...

As far as fiverr goes, there are some really good copywriters there. (I found one particular individual I still order from until today)

As far as traffic and leads go, I would stay away from fiverr. If you are looking for a good writer and are willing to go through a whack load of average writers to find one, then fiverr my be your place.

It's really about looking at the reputation of the gigs owner.
There are some gigs that offer quality likes, you just have
To dig through all the garbage gigs. Look at the reviews.

I haven't used Fiverr for facebook page likes, but if I were to I would first look at the ratings and reviews of past clients for anyone who is providing a facebook page likes gig. You can also message the Fiverr sellers and explain your situation before you pay for the gig. Usually most fiverr sellers will tell you everything you need to know about the gig because they don't want you to buy a gig and give them a bad rating.

Tell them you need high quality facebook page likes that won't disappear after a short period of time.

Here are my two cents:

I bought a gig for $1 from SEOclerks offering 100 likes or something like that to my facebook page.
I got those 100 likes from random people (or bots) but after a month, they all suddenly disappeared.

here is the skinny.

Do you buy fiverr gigs for PR, BANNERS, Articles, Graphics, logos, transcribing, DOC to PDF stuff.

- HELL YES!, its very good for that.

Do you buy fiverr gigs for TRAFFIC, SOLO ADS, Fake Likes, fake yotube likes, fake fans.

- HELL NO! That is a good way to ruin your business.

Why are you even going near Fiverr? I mean seriously?

Are you talking about "buying 5,000 likes" from Fiverr or something like that?

Most of what passes for traffic on autopilot these days is nothing more than robots or click farms.

This type of traffic is useless and while it might make you FEEL good for a moment to see 100 people sign up for your offer, or 1,275 people "Like" your post, ultimately it is an empty experience because those clicks are from Bots, and bots are notorious for not buying anything.

Those bots are just a bunch of tire kickers who will never buy a single thing from you.

So...the age-old question of how to get REAL HUMAN EYEBALLS on your offer who just might buy...

Have you considered a direct mail marketing piece?

I mean if you're going to spend $25, $50, or even $100 you should at least get REAL PEOPLE looking at your offer instead of a robot, right?
