Some wired backlinks research...
Hi guys, I'm doing some backlinks research on my competitors...
Sometimes I'm seeing links that I have no idea how they got there.
For example, a post in a big website that has millions of views like that:
(it's not mine or anything, it's just an example for the weird links ) Nervous Negotiators Have the Edge
They are just linking general keywords in the article to some websites... Even stuff that are not really related to the article itself... Like "treadmills" (Just because treadmills were a methapore for something in the article)
Do you think these linked websites are paying them for the keywords linking? or...? what is a reasonable explanation for this?
