What size in cm should an ebook be, as I want to sell ebooks :-)

Hello, how are you all going? :-) When you sell an ebook online, what size in cm do you have your ebook to be? I asked clickbank but they said there is no industry standard on size. I asked my friends but nobody knew :-( I scanned my book at the scanning shop and they turned it into an ugly big mama ebook, that takes up over half my desktop screen :-( I read somewhere on google that 11 inches by 8.5 inches is a good size for an ebook. What do you all think? And what happens if someone wants to read it on a mobile phone or tablet- should i have separate mini versions of it for them?

Use LETTER or LEGAL size in your Word Processor and save it as PDF. There's no standard size for ebook page size as it is digital. It's not printed book. You won't need to care the size in cm or mm or feet, but you want to care it in pixel size. But you don't need to worry about it, as you will provide your ebook in PDF format or other digital format. The page view will be resize-able in any gadget, as long as it can read PDF format.

If you're doing a PDF, make it letter size - in the USA, that's 8.5" wide by 11" tall. That should work with pretty much any printer out there. If your primary market uses metric, set your word processor for A size - same deal. It's the most common letter size used.

If you're doing something like a Kindle book, don't worry about it. The book will be resized to fit the reader's device, whether it's an old flip phone or a desktop monitor.
