I am working on a course to teach a software, and there are threads already online asking for good resources to learn the software.

How do I pitch my course without sounding spammy.

    1. Supply a guest article to a help site.

    2. Get on social media and interact with people who might want to learn what you're selling.

    3. Get a website and do some content and SEO to rank it for longtail keywords.

    4. Post on relevant forums.

    I am assuming that you are a looking for a way to get people from the threads that you mentioned to visit your site.

    If that is the case...Then you can offer a helpful comment on the threads (maybe a video tutorial) and link back to your site using your forum signature.

    If you don't want to spam people, then you probably need to buy paid advertising, or if you want to save money and invest in your time, then you need to make your product sounds like a genuine recommendation to those who really need it.

    Make a landing page selling the software and get paid advertising to drive traffic to the page. Google ads is a bit expensive, but FB Ads I would recommend.

    Start building your list utilizing an autoresponder the old fashion way. (your own personal subscribers) or start paying to mail other peoples email lists through safelist mailers (there are hundreds of these out there to choose from)

    fb ads or bing ads work great on getting more exposure but if your on a budget you can join fb groups on whatever niche your product is in and post on each one talk about it

        I suggest getting a squeeze page and autoresponder so that you can capture leads.

        Offer them something free such as "FREE REPORT ON HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT" or "Free Report on how I made $300 a day and you can too." and vice versa.

        Build up their trust, then offer them your product. You can also give other free reports as well related to your nice with affiliate offers in them as well.

    1) Sincerely desire to help people;

    2) Provide valuable content;

    3) Develop relationships;

    4) Get into the forums where this software is sought after.

    And this is just my two cents....but sometimes we are too worried about sounding spammy. We are marketers. If you have a good product, and you mention it in a positive, appropriate way it is okay. You don't have to walk on eggshells.

    I think sometimes we are too timid in marketing.

    Also, you can use your signature to be your salesman so that it can do the heavy lifting without you having to mention it in your helpful articles.

    Great question!

    Frank Kern said that the best way to be a consultant is to actually help the people that you want to hire you.

    If you do a good enough job they'll come back and want more services.

    With that being said he then turned and said, "What's the biggest question someone has going on in their head in regards to what you can help them with?"

    You want to create some sort of offer that resonates with that "big question" they have so you can lead them into a scenario where you can actually help them.

    It's that whole idea behind giving first before you receive.

    I think what you do is you offer to help first! Like really "beyond conventional thinking" help someone.

    The goodwill it will cause will be infections and mostly alerting to those who will find out what you offer.

    There are a couple of ways.

    Warrior forum classified ads. They are like ads. Of course only use if related ; )

    If your product is REALLY AWESOME, then go and find people in your niche and ask 'em if they would be interested in promoting it. Offer them something exclusive, like a special deal or something so they do it!

    Use that great Avatar image and make some friends!

    Find the people asking the questions and give them some great tips. Not your absolute best but super helpful and just have a link to your resource and never mention it. But have a great tagline to get people curious to click it.

    Me personally I would find that appealing myself if a person was super helpful and not directing me to his own "Epic" Thread.

    You can also create a free mini guide with some helpful tips and link to your premium stuff inside.
