Hi,

What's the best internet marketing software that you have ever used? What was so good about it and how did it help you?

I'd be interested to know.

        Thanks.

My comment was not aimed at the post above, it was towards members of this forum.

I'm not interested in what that particular Warrior is doing - I'm interested to know what software people are using in their online business. It could be anything - automation, marketing, whatever - it would be good to know if there is anything that I can learn that I can implement in my own business.

      Thanks, Jill.

Well, anything that you find useful in your online business. I've deliberately left the question as open as possible in order to try to generate some ideas that I might not have thought about. I just wanted people to share what they use and in what way it was useful.

      Any thoughts would be appreciated

I'll go with Scrapebox for research. I don't use (or approve of) the spamming features it has, but it has some powerful whitehat research tools.

Also, PowerPoint. I like it for creating a variety of marketing videos. It's also great for repurposing content, as it can export in a number of formats including PDF.

All in one free traffic software in which you can register at and submit to article directories, free blog platforms like Blogger, Live Journal and Webby etc, bookmarking sites, classified ad sites, PDF / e-book directories, press release and video submission sites.

    Initially I used it heavily.

But after Google Penguin and Hummingbird updates, I now used it moderately like once or twice a week.

It is similar to Magic Submitter and Senuku but I bought it at one-time lifetime price.

I do a lot of research online, and frequently use free online tools to clean up text a bit before pasting it into Excel.

The two sites I use the most for this purpose:
    TextMechanic
Text Fixer - Online Text Tools

I love Instapage - I will forever love Instapage. Helps out with those quick split tests without plugging away with codes / hiring a designer / or buying a template. I would label it as an intermediate tool though - One should know the basics of affiliate marketing (what a good lander looks like) before pouring money into copious split testing.

Thanks, everyone. There are some interesting ideas coming out here and I have found out about software which I have never heard of which I might be able to use in my business.

I'd be grateful for anyone else to make their contribution. What do you use software for in your online business? Keyword research? Niche research? Customer research? Automation? Traffic generation? What software do you use? Online software or software on your PC?

Whatever it is, please let me know as I it may be something that I can use in my business.

Thanks again to everyone for taking the time to respond.

One thing to keep in mind about tools:

When these guys sell cool sounding tools, they always tell a story about how they did X, Y, or Z and made a bunch of money as a result of doing so. So, they decided to create a tool.

However, the money they made was NOT with their tool because it wasn't created yet.

My point? Get the job done without focusing on all the new toys that are out there because almost every day there are new must buy tools that come out.

Hundreds and thousands of dollars can be made with things like a word processor, PDF compiler, WordPress, a basic theme, and an autoresponder. Once you can do the job with the basics, then you can spend some of your money and time looking into extras.

Not sure if you consider blogging platform like Wordpress and autoresponder like Aweber as software. I believe these 2 are the biggest tools/software people are using.

Many thanks four the contribution so far. They certainly have my brain working.

What software tools would you use in order to spot trends?

Which software do you use which solves a specific Internet marketing related problem?

I would be grateful to know.

In the earlier days, between 2005-2010, I would say SEO Elite and Super Suggester.

Super Suggester still works and it helps with finding long tail keywords.

Scrapebox, GSA, and Bookmarking Demon are excellent but I've been out of the SEO game for some time now. AHREF is an excellent toolbar plug-in by the way.

Yes, I am. Easy Sketch Pro for developing whiteboard animation videos.

Very safe, free software: Handbrake for compressing the video (not the quality) for uploading videos to Amazon AWS - assists in minimising charges when visitors download or play and/or YouTube.

Camtasia video software (use this after developing the whiteboard animation video in Easy Sketch Pro) to edit start of the video so a blank white screen doesn't show). Also use for developing training videos where I want to show screenshots or walk people through a website etc.

Very safe, free software: MW Snap for taking screen snapshots so the file is not a large file.

Question Spy: paid: download the zip file and extract, then able to use as web based. Excellent for keyword research especially how to; and great for gaining ideas for titles of articles etc.

Very safe, free software: Faststone Photo Resizer - great for resizing photos either smaller or larger.

Very safe, free software: Quick Time Player - great for checking that videos developed will play well for Mac computers (as relying on Windows Player doesn't always give the exact result.) Learnt this when a friend kept telling me she got a blank white screen at the start of a video which didn't show in Windows Player, however when played in Quick Time Player showed, hence able to correct.

Computer Security Software: Quite often people ignore their computer security and can really pay for it in the long term. As IMérs a computer device is a necessity hence, ignoring computer security is a recipe to lose $$$ big time.
      Bitdefender Anti Virus.
      Malware Bytes Pro Version
      Wise Care 365
Super Anti Spyware (free version after free trial period)
      CCleaner (free version)
      Auslogics Defrag (free)
Either Driver Booster or Driver Genius to ensure all your computer and programme drivers are current.

      Other Computer Software - free
Belarc - fabulous for giving you the ins and outs of your computer, including all software license keys - keep a print out with you computer CDs and software programmes. If something happens and you have to reinstall your programmes you have a print out of all the license keys, including if using Windows operating system license keys.

Macrium Reflect - Version 6 - fabulous for complete image back ups of your computer if something happens. All your files and folders and the complete full image of your computer to get things back up and running in nothing flat.

Revo Uninstaller - free - great for fully uninstalling programmes off your computer. Cleans out everything properly including in the registry.

(I use Roboform for password collection.)

I would love to know a great photo or image editing software preferably free - either stand alone or web based. The crap that comes with Windows 10 is just that - crap. I've yet to really find a programme that I'm really happy with.

      Hope this assists.

We all use so many different software every day, so it's very difficult to answer this question.

I thought about it and I think on an average day we all use at least 50 different software directly and thousands indirectly. We just don't realize it because using software if a way of life.

We are so used to using them, most of the time we don't even think we're using a software but we do, every minute of the day. Right now, when you're reading this you're using a software.

For videos, I use PowerPoint to start with... Then import the PP video into Sony Vegas (I bought an older copy off Ebay for like ten bucks). This makes a great polished video that is easy to create and get a message across fast. For WP, look at a sales page creator like InstaBuilder or ? (search online). Those seem to be the tools I use the most outside of WP itself.

I'd easily have to go with Clickfunnels.

Simply by using that, it's allowed me to cancel a ton of other recurring softwares and services I once used.

We can't say any software is best instead ideal to use. I think Google Analytics, Google Alert, blogger, wordpress, Apptivo, SEMrush, etc. Many software there in outside that people used to promote business.
