Discuss about common mistakes by IM

Dear Warriors,

Let's discuss about common mistakes by IM guys.

I have noticed one common mistake, When considering organic traffic, most of them are going for OFFSITE SEO, prior to set their ONSTIE SEO properly. That kills the time, In some cases they could have get success only with ONSITE SEO (When the competitve is very low, with very UNIQUE+QUALITY content and other setups)... but they have paid lot for OFFSITE and then only care about ONSITE....

What are the other common mistakes?

    Information overload is huge

Also, spreading yourself too thinly...Its easier to make more money if you dominate and become an expert in one niche or area. Dabbling in many different directions is possibly good when you first start to see which area of im most suits you, but in order to really make money you have to settle on one area and become good at it.

      Hrrmm, there are many things:

      - Waiting for that perfect, 1-click, "no work but lots of money" easy solution, instead of taking action with what you already know.

      - Blindly believing what others say/write in their Ebooks/IM Education products instead of questioning the contents and developing own, slightly changed strategies, that best work for you.

      - Not being well enough organized. After all, IM is a business like every other. If you don't keep account about your invested time/money and the returns you get from it, you're lost.

      - Not building enough streams of income. Many IM's put their whole efforts into one system/technique, but working with a medium changing as fast as the internet, this one system can be completely worthless after a only a few months.

I think the biggest problem is a break down in motivation.

There are too many empty promises online that make people feel that they will be making money as soon as possible, this gets people discouraged. So, they run around online like a chicken with its head cut-off and don't know where to start. This brings down there motivation because they feel as if they are failing, and they eventually give up.

New internet marketers need to take a deep breath and understand the fact that this takes time!

Goodluck to everyone, much success online!

    Cheers,
    Emma

    • I agree, way tooo much information overload is #1 in my opinion.

#2 is broken focus - I'm sticking with one or two methods for now and that's it! If your not focusing on one marketing method then you won't see positive results.

#3 is Imbalance lifestyle - I'm learning to balance work, family, meditation, weight room, golfing, friends, etc.

Being rich not all about money but having Everything in Order is what I call RICH.
