How do I setup title on the website so its not fully shown on the post titles?

Hey everyone, so I'm using All In One SEO pack plugin for my wordpress website and everything is good except for one thing, each title post includes the full title of the website, so its looks like this:

This is the title of my post blah blah | And here it shows the title of my website

So it first shows the title of my post and then there is a divider and then it shows the title of my website? Anyone knows how I do this right?

This is how I want it to look:

This is the title of my post blah blah - Mysitesname

How do I do this, so it wont hurt my SEO? Any ideas?

You say that after your post title it displays "the title of my website" but you want it to say "Mysitename."

Is there a difference between "the title of my website" and "Mysitename?"

Sorry if I'm missing something. Can you please clarify?

    Cheers.

    -Edit-

Do you mean the following scenario?

A website at MeetAnAlienToday.com is headlined with "The Best Place To Meet Aliens!"

In this scenario your posts would be titled as Post Title | The Best Place To Meet Aliens

and you want them to to be titled as Post Title | MeetAnAlienToday.com

    Is that what you mean?

My apologizes for not being clear enough.

So when I MAKE A NEW POST on my website, the google shows the entire title of my new post plus the entire title of my website, so it looks like this:

The title of this new post shows here | And here it shows the full title of my website as well.

and this is how I want it to be:

The title of the new post shows here - Mysitesname (Health)

    smolodoy,

You want to change your site's permalink structure.

In your site's WP admin panel, look at the far left menu and go down to "Settings". There are several options available. The one you want to click is ----> "Permalinks."

On that Permalinks page under "Common Settings" you have several choices. The last one is "Custom Structure" - click on that.

It will look something like http://youblogname.com followed by a box you can type in. In that box, put the following:

    /%postname%/yourblogname.com

then be sure to click at the bottom of the page "Save Changes."

Score another one for the Universal Support forum. I wonder if FL could add an income stream by billing WP for support?

    John,

You crack me up . . . but I know you're only partially kidding.

Answer me this: If an elephant wants to go 30 miles, and he's walking 5 miles per hour, how many pancakes does it take to shingle a doghouse?

        Exactly.

(I would have asked how large is the pancake, but your answer is correct.)

Go to the setting of All in One
    Go to "Post Title Format:"
    Then change "%post_title% | %blog_title%" to "%post_title% - Sitename"

I haven't tested it. But I think this is what you are after.

Steve, you totally misuderstood my question, I'm not talking about the URL structure, but I'm talking about the titles here! I know its my fault, I"m not that great at explaining, but I appreciate the help that you're still trying to offer!
