Traffic for a Local Business?

I've found some success using search engines and Facebook advertising, but what other methods have you found to be viable for getting traffic to a local business? Or would you suggest I try?

Like you mentioned, Facebook is the big one but LinkedIn is pretty good too and offers more functionality than most people realize.

A little bit more obscure but nonetheless effective, would be something in the area of ppc advertising through Adwords and Microsoft Ad Center (more commonly known as Yahoo/Bing)

Lol on a bit of a side note, I found my last home realtor through a Google Adwords ppc listing.

    Hey Justin,

What type of business? How large is their city? If their clients are younger-ish people, other social networks like Snapchat can be great.

Does it have to be online traffic?

Are you advertising on search engines or ranking content as well? Are you promoting this businesses website or video and press releases as well? Lead capture?

    Best.

Local business? I'd be on places like Yelp, YellowPages (YP.com), Manta, Google Maps and Indeed.

For local business, especially I preferred to place business in local site and do local directory listing that helpful to people know about local business, Also you can use social networking sites to promote your business by sharing quality content about your product to the concerned peoples.
