Help with relationship niche

I'm a counselor wanting to market a 16 part audio series on strengthening relationships. How can I find others who have marketing experience in this niche?

    Hi Jimmeettee,

I'm curious - is it to take a look at their marketing techniques and employ the same taactics

If I was doing looking for others that have done what I'm wanting to do, I'm sorry, but I'd start with Google - "Audio courses in strengthening relationships Chicago" or something similar.

Failing that, if it's to find someone who will act as your soundboard, do you have many contacts in the profession? Maybe if you approached them they may be able to think of some marketing tactics you haven't, or at least be able to point you in the right direction.

I hope this helps, good luck .

If I were in your shoes I would do some online research.

Use your best keywords and phrases to see the search engine results. Note the top sites that are ranking for your best keywords. The sites returned in the results may or may not be competitors depending upon what they are selling. Go to their sites and see how they do their marketing. They may be using an outside marketing agency or not. Run these same sites through Similar Web to see where they are getting their traffic.

I would also look for professional associations - you probably are a member of several in the field of counseling. There may be mailing lists that you can rent in order to contact these folks. (If your product is good, you might think of licensing it to others (for their client use) for a substantial fee).

I would suggest you consider targeting and re-purposing your material since there are lots of different kinds of relationships. Make the product unique for a particular type of relationship. For instance, an employer-employee relationship is going to be different than a husband-wife relationship. So you make a few specific changes to your more general product to cater to specific niches. It will help your marketing immensely because it focuses on one specific problem rather than the more general relationship topic.

And of course you can always advertise for help by marketing agencies that have a proven track record in your field. This will likely be a more costly approach, but you will be buying experience which is always good.

Does your course currently convert and make sales? A low refund rate

Once you have that data you can easily list your product on a site like Clickbank or somebody and they handle everything.
