How Could This Have Happened?

Hi there,

I am hoping that someone with some technical knowledge can let me know how my Warrior Profile was completely hijacked.

I signed in yesterday (I am hoping to be sponsored to the War Room) and found that my profile had been completely hacked - the only thing left standing of mine was my avatar. I wrote to support who nicely changed my password for me in the hopes of stopping this, but this morning when I went in to change my details back to "me" I found that who ever had been in my profile had changed

My tag line - to Professional SEO (I don't even know SEO)
My twitter name - to seo-tips-triks - I am wisecrone333
My Url - to www.deepakgautam.com - I use www.youempowerlife.com
My location - to somewhere in USA - I live in NZ
My age - to march in 1985 - I wish, I was born in 1961
My occupation - to building websites - like I could do that professionally

And my signature line to include videos from Yahoo among other things.

I was really upset about it because I pride myself on being honest in my dealings with warriors and these changes were totally misrepresenting who I am and what I do - can someone give me some advice on how this could have happened (I am the only person who has access to my computer) and what I can do to stop it happening again?

Any help would be appreciated - thanks

    Hi.

Is there any chance that it could have just been a Warrior profile error? Perhaps their member database got a glitch and there isn't anyone trying to hijack your profile... *hopeful look*

My suggestion would be to put in another trouble ticket and let them know that the profile got changed again and if they can look into it, just to see if there is some kind of database error.

    Hope this helps.

The admin/tech guys on the WF run a very tight ship where security is concerned so I would put your issue down to a database error.

Hope you sort it out soon,

Have you done a thorough check on your computer? You might have a keylogger or other malware on it. That would enable the hacker to see everything you use to login here or elsewhere.
