Which style is more convenient for product review?

What style do you guys prefer for a Clickbank product review site/niche?

Do you guys prefer a Blog style, News style or Magazine style?

I personally find the Blog style to be very uncomfortable as I'm not looking to have a blog. I just want a home page with a comparison chart and at least 10 pages with some written content in it.

What about you? What do you think?

Hi, I would forget the hassle of building a blog or a website. Unless you get it ranked high in the search engines you don't stand much chance of anyone seeing it.

My advice then! Buy the product you want to promote. It must be a good product that you would pay money for. Don't just pick any old product. Then, make a short video review and post it on Youtube. People love videos. And remember two things. Youtube is as much a search engine as Google. Secondly, Google owns Youtube so it loves videos. If you set up your video correctly, it will also appear in the organic search results in Google.

When people search in Google for the product you're promoting, if they see a video icon against the heading, they are more likely to click on your link. So you get 2 links just for making one short review video which costs you nothing but a few minutes of your time.

Forget blogs and websites. Too difficult to get ranked in the search engines.

    1. Buy the product you want to promote. Is it any good. If you don't think so, no-one else will either.
    2. Make a short video review of your product, and post on Youtube.

Remember, Youtube is as much a search engine as Google. Plus, Google owns Youtube so it loves videos to put in it's organic searches. So you get 2 entries which has cost you nothing except for a few minutes creating a review video.

    Thanks for your suggestion bluemotion!

I'm not really a video sales person so can't do product review with a camera. I don't mind doing a review video with text though. And even here, I will still have to find a way to link visitor to my site.

Also, I don't mind getting my page to rank. SEO isn't that difficult if you can find a low competition keyword and have high quality content. Most of the work will be outsource anyway. The downsize of this is it just take too much time to go through all of this.

Hey Regional Warrior! Well because I always find myself switching back and forth.

I've seen some sites that has review products style while others have blog style.

I would like to know which way/style works better?

A product review site only focus on promoting a single product with a limited amount of pages.

A blog style seem to promote many different products.

I think you missed the point , I meant that easier to choose between 2 than 3 would you not agree?

For better conversions, instead of reviewing single products, write pages that compare 3 products, giving good reasons why you recommend one of them the most.

That will usually get much better conversions than writing about just one product. To improve the conversions even more, try recommending different ones of the 3, and see what the results are.

These days, honest product-reports can do better than reviews that are full of hype. So try to write about factual differences in your comparison, and if possible, what real customers have said about the products.

I already went with a targeted domain name. So the name will target just that 1 product. But I'll see if I can make a comparison anyway, thanks.

People love video. Youtube is probably the best search engine on the internet today, and Google owns Youtube. So, if you're reviewing a product, make a short video and post it on Youtube. This is more powerful than any blog.

Personally, the more human the review feels the better. If you make the page too flashy and fancy it takes away from that human element.

I would go with a blog style for your review websites.

Actually it very much depends on whether you want to play the 'long game' or the quick-dirty game. If you are serious about providing genuine value and not just tricking people with plausible but superficial 'reviews' then a blog can work as a niche project and build your reputation - people who are serious about their online career don;t want to see a lot of crappy, thin content reviews, I know I always ignore this type-it is preferable to have some meaningful depth to your work-no?
