Hey Warriors. Today when I logged into warrior forum I found out that my PM inbox was 100% full and I had to delete messages to make room for new PMs. We are only allowed to have 10 PMs in our inbox. I wanna know if you agree that we should have more space for our PMs or not. Edit: I just read the new rules and I am totally fine with that. Sorry for this post guys. |

I think 10 is fine for a free member, if you need more you should become a full member. You can download your old messages to your computer if you want to save them. John |

We're already getting help desk complaints that are very ironic. Someone doing enough action and business on here to be dealing with tons of PM's a day is going to gripe about this? Let me get this straight - you are making money here and doing good business but yet you don't want to be a full member? |

I think it's more than utterly fine. The cost of membership is crazy low and lasts for 20 years. That is mentally good value for what is unarguably the number one online location for internet marketers. The costs of managing this site, all the storage and bandwidth, must be astronomical. Not to mention covering what I know must be a monumental amount of time and effort moderating this place to keep it as clean as it is. Spend two minutes on any other forum and you appreciate just how great this forum is. If we want all the goodies, we just have to give some thanks in the form of a little cash to the folks who are providing it. That's the least we can do. |

Why not just force people to become a member if they want to post blogs as that seems to be the majority of the problem unless I am reading it wrong. I personally didn't see anything wrong with the WSO section...I have purchased a lot of quality WSO's from people whom I never met on the old forum where I was mostly a lurker I guess I am little sour because I pumped $200+ into my business today and then just came across this with no real notice -Mark |

I think what some people are forgetting, or don't realise is that members used to have to pay to get into this forum just a couple of years back (about 4-5 yrs ago). The problem isn't just about the blogs. It's about the spammers, scammers, and drive-bys that don't add anything to the community. All they want to do is either get traffic and serp listing for their own sites, or make money. The WF has always been about helping each other - first think about the community, then about yourself. ![]() Btw, it's been building up to this for some time now. If you have been fairly active, most likely you would have seen the signs. Hope this helps ... Mary P.S. Sorry you are having a bad day. ![]() Quote:

Hi Mark, I'm Not sure why you think this effects your expenses today? This won't effect your membership at the Warrior Forum because you're a War Room Member already. Therefore you will receive all privileges accordingly related. Maybe I missed your point? If so I apologize and will stand corrected when you reply. Have a Great Day! Michael Quote:

What the Warrior Forum offers is far more than fair. Paying $37 to join is a joke - it should be at least that much per year, and wouldn't be remiss if it was a monthly fee. I don't think some of you appreciate what you have here.

The flood of threads that are made about this over the next couple of days is going to be nothing less than Stupid. Allen made the decision he made...I mean, what the hell? It's not like you can't log in and browse the forum...you can't store tons of PM's or run WSO's if you don't join the paid membership. I really don't see what the big deal is? |

I understand how you feel Mark. There really wasn't any other way to do it than just do it. I can't mail the entire database of the forum because of spam issues (long story) and the Force Users to Read a Thread no longer works. A notice sucks because many have developed some kind of ad blindness so the only option was to just do it...like Nike says :-)

I was really expecting it to be yearly charge and would not have hesitated to pay $37/monthly for all of the value you get from here. The learning, the systems, the networking, etc. You can't beat it for the price. All he did was make the forum better by making this decision!

Whoa. Yearly charges are okay. But monthly payments? Now that, for a frugal internet marketeer, would be costly.

Allen, have you considered having everybody using their name as their username here? Having people to join the War Room to list is wso will be interesting for those who have multiple names here. Paul it's all about giving and taking, their mentality is "you give and I'll take" |

I don't delete my PMs until I save them. If you go into your PM inbox and scroll to the bottom, there are 3 links down there that will download your inbox and outbox to either XML, CVS or TXT. At the end of each month I download everything and then delete the conversations that are complete. Anytime I need to refer back, I can open my saved file and easily find the information. John |

It's $37 for twenty years. Cellphone, Satellite TV, House Payment, Car Payment, Health Insurance, Car Insurance, Home Phone, Groceries, and Electricity... these are just some of the things that cost me more than $37, and I have to pay them every month. They don't help me earn any income either. No complaints here. |

First of all, I totally agree with the WR and its concept and rules. But 10 PMs for "free" members? I had about 50 PMs stored. True, a lot of them I could delete, and this is just taking up server space, so that's fine. But an hour later, I had to copy/paste the ones I wanted to save and hopefully I'll put these somewhere in an email folder so I won't forget them. I kept some others in there. 10? Seriously? Yeah, I'm gonna shell out the bucks to join the WR, but 10? Maybe 20 or 25. Honestly, if you're gonna limit it to 10, might as well just make it 2 - one for any incoming - one for replies. Delete. Repeat.

I think Allen is being generous with even 10 PM's - really. If it were me, non-members would not be allowed to PM at all, have a signature, or post in WSO/Product Review threads, among others. I know...I'm a hardass about some things, but these are areas where people can easily create a fake account and cause trouble. On the other hand, I turned off PM's on my account long ago, for a different reason, but now I'll never turn it back on. For me it's a productivity and responsiveness issue - I don't like having to check for communications in multiple places and I've found that not using PM's, gets people pointed to to my email, which is more appropriate. |
