I'm NOT Sure What Products To Promote... !!

Hey,

I know that there is a lot of affiliate programs out there, but sometimes I just get stuck - I can't seem to find relevant affiliate products to promote to my audience.

I'm in the health and beauty niche, so typically products in this niche such as Skincare products, Sleep apnea eBooks - are usually very expensive

It makes it hard for me to find the best, most legit, and less expensive Skincare or Anti-aging product for my audience

It's almost impossible to generate a good conversion on the OTO in the Thank You Page with a $79 Product!!!

What do you usually do when you are in a NICHE that has ONLY high ticket expensive products?
#affiliate #affiliate products #products #promote

If you want to earn more money, with the same amount of work, you should promote expensive products but most people can afford because they desire to have it. So, have faith. Pick one and do hard in it. Try every methods I can if I were you.

    Hope it helps.

Shouldn't you promote products that fit with you and your target audience?

If you would use it and back it, then it could be a good way to go.

I know very little about affiliate products, however I would never promote anything I wouldn't use myself as it wouldn't really be the right 'fit' for my followers / audience.

    Just my two cents worth.

For starters... research your audiences price points, and if a $79 upsell is too much...

    Go to:

    • Clickbank.com
    • JVzoo
    • MarketHealth.com
    • Linkshare.com
    • CJ.com
    • Clicksure.com
Search Google for either trending or sustained goods and services and type the name of the product + affiliate -or- product + jv into your web browser... most top selling and reputable vendors have affiliate programs.

Lastly, and this is less valuable if you are not getting a lot of traffic... join Amazon's affiliate program and market popular low-cost ticket items, or add an A-Store to your website!

One option is Ebooks on JVZoo, which also has the advantage of instant payments (if you get approved by the seller).

Looking at some of the health Ebooks there, prices are : $8.52, $37, $19.24, etc. (with some expensive ones as well).

And some of those are PLR, so you can re-write and re-brand them, and sell them at any price you choose. (Do that for free by finding PLR and/or doing research online nad re-writing). Writing a product is not difficult, so if you've got an effective list or website, just create a product (or pay someone else to do it), then the price is up to you.

If you create a product, put it on JVZoo too (it's easy and free), and you'll make some sales just by having it there. You need a good sales-page, but just see what other good ones do, and do something similar.

If you're interested in this approach, I might be available to re-write content, and/or to create sales-copy, at the right prices, PM me if you want to know more

    Hope that helps

      Thanks for your help,

But I believe JVZoo is full of MMO products, I never knew that there are Health products in JVZoo,

I know that to put a product on Clickbank you have to pay $47, but it's good to know that JVZoo allows you to host your product there for free

However, It takes a lot of Tools to become a product vendor, I need things like - HTTPS Certificate, Payment processing, Dealing with Angry and Unsatisfied Customers, (just to mention a few)...

If you are confident that you are promoting the right product to the right market, then this is my advice. Buy the product for yourself. Test it. Is it any good. If so, make a review video and put it on Youtube. People love video, and remember, Youtube is every much a search engine as Google.

In fact, Google owns Youtube and therefore, if done correctly, your video will show up in the organic search results of Google. Great free way to advertise.

I mostly promote physical products, and most vendors don't ship to my country(or Shipping costs too expensive), ...

There are a lot of product reviews on YouTube , I mostly use those ...

You can mix it up with low price products with occasional one/two high priced ones. You can also use some pre-sales emails to your list before recommending the higher priced products.

You see what your competition is promoting and there you go. Plus when searching and chossing a product you don't want to pick a product just because it looks good and you think people should buy it. You need to look at the history of that product and make sure it is proven to sell. Something called earnings per clicks will tell you this story. Numbers do not lie...

I typically look for a niche that has a range of product pricing alternatives so that customers of all levels of price tolerance can find something that fits their budget.

Being in a niche where higher priced products is the norm . . . is not really a bad or difficult thing for affiliates as it is usually the higher priced products that are valuable that are not as easy to find.

There are good PLR and MRR products that you can turn to that sit in the $15-$49 range. You also have the option of creating a product yourself or hiring a product developer to build one for you.

Having said that, I think your very best option right now is to do a little easy market research and see what products in that price range in your niche are currently selling well. Many of the sales platforms will allow you to see the top selling online products including Amazon and eBay. You can also visit the "trend" display sites to see what is up-trending and down-trending.

I will admit I am not much of an affiliate marketer - I prefer developing my own products; however, it seems to me the very best way to be a top affiliate is to present your offer (affiliate links or referral) to people that already want to purchase something in particular which usually turns out to be the best selling products and services. In other words, always sell into current market demand. It's much, much easier than trying to create demand where it doesn't exist.

    To your success,

    Steve

Consider what your audiaence wants. If they want health and they want beauty they will pay for it.

I understand the challenges but if you can bring confidance into your promotions people will trust you and order the product no matter the price.

I had this problem like 2 years ago. I discovered the same pills could be made private label. I was able to cut the consumer price by 1/3 and increase my over all profit by $10. But crap was it expensive! lol.. You could try that though?

This is where I was going too. $79 sounds pretty cheap to me if it will promise to remove your emotional insecurities from Acne, or potentially save your life (and quality of life) from Sleep Apnea?

While I completely understand what would prompt this comment, I think its an irrelevant viewpoint if you are focused on High Quality products - They do exist, even in the WSO forum The rest don't matter, whether they're crap or not.

So I have to ask, Are you sure you have your finger on the pulse of what your audience can afford? Or is it just your own intuition you're relying on? As mighty as your intuition may be, you absolutely must throw out your preconceived notions of "Who can afford What" People will surprise ya

hey there you seem to be doing ok, but how about this? Offer a tripwire offer for say $7 on your thank you page. Remember a transaction value is not important, what is important is that when they buy they have made a commitment

Thanks Shaun, I'm very excited about ALL of this - HUGE Potential here...

I have been ONLY doing this for the past 4 months, I didn't even know that you can make money online Lol

... About that tripwire offer, I'm NOT sure what's that - I think I will look for some PPL Affiliate Programs or I will try to look for CPA offers -

I think CPA Offers like Email Submits or FREE Trial offers could work Great in the ''Thank You Page''

      What do you think?

A lot of wisdom there - I think something labeled as 'Expensive' is subject to the person's ability to purchase that product, although I see it as expensive, someone may find it to be just fine

You have to know what someone in your niche or markets desired end results are. What do they want to achieve? What do they want to master or get better at?

Health and beauty people could be interested in:
    -Weight loss
    -Makeup
    -Self-development
    -etc.

    You have to be creative.

Didn't mean to ruffle your feathers, Cowboy. I went with the video embed because it's a copy/paste of YouTube's URL. Wasn't worth the effort of making a GIF.

Kay and I were just poking a bit of fun at your latest avatar.

As for promoting physical products, that's my preference as an affiliate as well.

As for digital products, don't promote the crap and the refund rates tend to take care of themselves.

Edit: Regarding pricing, I'm reminded of something the late Zig Ziglar liked to say - good products are seldom cheap, and cheap products are seldom good.

I don't know if you are collecting leads and building an email list. But if you are, you can sell an inexpensive product on the front end.

And if you are giving value in your email marketing...then you can introduce the more expensive stuff ($79 to $500).

People don't mind buying the higher more expensive stuff (if they see value in it and you).

But in the beginning, it's much easier to get them to make a $7 decision as opposed to a $79 decision.

Not all are very expensive. I am in the beauty category in Amazon. Women also like less expensive, but high quality products for hands, feet, lips. You can buy wholesale, or private label. There are products that sell in the thousands monthly that are between 15-$35 bucks and women want them badly, and needs it. Think spots, skin conditions. Also there are many products under $10 that women want as well.

Also check bestsellers ranks on Amazon, look at the reviews. PM me if you need further help for free. I do not want to put everything out here. You almost got me thinking, I could sell to a list like that as well

Then CPA that Thank You Page!

Head on over to MaxBounty - Best CPA network for affiliate marketing programs and get yourself a nice fat & juicy (yet reputable) CPA offer that pays out for a lead.

Goes without saying that you shouldn't redirect your lead to the CPA automatically, instead use your TY page as a lander.

    Happy profiting

SUPER IMPORTANT NOTE: make sure your messages/copy is congruent with each other. So that your squeeze page > thank you page > CPA all carry the same message
