Looking down the first page here in the main forum, there are five [CLOSED] threads due to a variety of reasons, including my own personal 'favorite', support questions that should be taken to the seller.

moss, it's a good start. We're quick to bitch about things, so I think it's only fair to say thank you when you do get it right.

I noticed the same, John - and some 'surgical' moderating, too.

I've always believed if you expect more or better of people - most will try to meet the higher expectations. Those who don't try - you can do without.

Moss will probably close this thread.

Please do not 'release balloons' for celebrations. The balloons and trailing ribbons entangle birds and kill wildlife and livestock that think the balloons are food.

My surgical "moderation" skills at work above.

      Yes, this is much appreciated.

One thing, though. Make sure that you don't leave people with the wrong impression by closing a thread right after a bunch of bad information is posted.

      For example:

      Q. "How do I get better organic rankings on Google?"

      A. "Do the hokey pokey dance 3 times."

"Google is a search engine and can help you get better rankings in Google."

"Thanks dear for this precious article. It will really help a lot."

"You have to buy advertising through Adwords to get organic rankings."

Closing it at this point does more harm than good. Might as well just delete the thread in my opinion.

      Mark

All we need now is the threads that are being kept bumped
by people gaming the forum closed,
and the articles removed and we might start to have a forum again.

Just noticed that this thread has been moved (rightly so) to the Off Topic forum, as it has nothing to do directly with IM or online business.
