Does a Facebook plugin on a website translate to website fresh content?

I have a question about fresh content on a website.

I have a client that wants a Facebook stream plugin on their website on the home page - my question is, will this mean that Google will pick up the feed and translate it to fresh content on a continuous basis the same as it would if I was regularly adding blogs to this website?

Apologies if this question is a little basic, I just wanted to ensure I was providing the right info back to my client about this.
