The best I found is Tellman Knudsen's, List Building Club. I am not an afiliate. I was a member for almost a year. It is a great program and you should join the membership program he has. I wouldn't go anywhere else for learning listbuilding.

    Regards,

    Bruce

I have personally bought PLF when I first started out.
I feel it is too overwhelming for beginners and anyone
    who first started out.

I feel what you can do right now is to:
    1. find a profitable niche which you want to venture into
    2. create a freebie offer to collect optin
    3. do ad swap with list owners in your niche.

It is a good start and I am sure you
can find more resources in this forum on
how to find a profitable niche.

The key is to continue to grow your list
through ad swapping and cross promotion.

    My 2 cents,
    John

If you are looking for some "secret course" that is going to show you how to build an enormous list, its not out there.

    Listbuilding 101:

    1. Pick Your Niche
    2. Purchase Autoresponder
    3. Create Opt In Bait
    4. Create Squeeze Page
    5. Monetize the backend
    6. Create Follow Up
    7. Drive Traffic (articles, PPC, whatever your heart desires)
    8. SPLIT TEST TEST TEST to increase opt in rate and conversions

I should call that Internet Marketing 101 because that's all there is to it.

      x2 ^^

It's SO simple that it is genius..

I know that product owners would love us to perpetuate the myth that you need to buy their course to learn how to build a list. In reality, you don't... get a squeeze page out there and offer that traffic sumthn' special in return

Adam laid it out pretty plain here... that's all there is to it.

      Peace

      Jay

p.s. Having said that.. if you MUST buy a list-building course... Jimmy D. Brown is your man.. followed closely by Chris Rempel..... but they'll just tell you what Adam said in more detail.

Jason Fladlein's Internet Millionaire Recipe is good, if you like his style. The course is a bit lacking in the how to department but if you have a good firm footing on the how to's the course will get you initially setup.

In my observations you should sign up to a couple lists and save their emails, I really like Perry Marshall, then dissect them and figure out how they do things. Perry also has a cheapo email course I bet is good, I haven't purchased anything besides his Adwords course and Mastermind program - both were excellent - I bet his autoresponder coaching is great too.

    My two cents

Dave Vallieres (spelling) did a great course a few years ago on list building. You might be able to find it somewhere.

But it isn't just about building a list it is about building a relationship with your list and hence having a responsive list. You could have a list of 1 million but if they don't respond then it's a waste of time.

The above seems missing from a lot of the newer marketers out there, which is a shame.

    Hi all

thanks for the responses. I suppose I was asking about what you would consider the best blueprint / all in one resource ... something that offers everything from a list of things to do with them in order through to pre done squeeze pages / graphics etc that work.

    the 101 is great...

thanks all.... any more for any more ?

Hey man, I don't think there is a course for link building.
It is just a new industry.

However, when I am new to this link building, I used to gather knowledge from forums (WF + DP and some more) as well as search on google for SEO blogs and learnt from there too. I had put my time and effort not money

Amanda I think you didn't read the question?

    List building

Link building isn't a new industry it has been around aslong as the internet. Well at least aslong as I have been working on it, since 1999.

Firstly, very few people on this planet know how to build a targeted email list. Please notice that I underlined the word targeted. If you are serious about your business, then I recommend you make friends with John Taylor.

He is a member of this forum. You can learn enough from him to make yourself a good email list, if you pay attention.
