Hello there, I hear so much about direct linking articles to the merchant and how you will probaby convert better linking to a landing page. Is this the case if you are promoting your own product on a website or is it better to still point articles to say a blog and then to your product on a webpage? I was thinking of having a blog integrated to my website so what would anyone suggest to help my product convert better? Many thanks. |

It all depends on how much pre-selling your articles have done and how much your sales page does. If you're looking to prepare the buyer and your sales page is short, you may want to have them go to a content page first. If your article and sales page together do the trick, then bypass the extra step. In other words, put yourself in your buyer's shoes - is the extra content annoying or helpful.
