Default Do any of you run a membership site? What software do you use?

After much research, it looks like Easy Member Pro might be my best solution. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Any software you guys recommend?

You guys know how it is, ask the Warriors before you drop a few hundred bucks

I use Robert Puddy's launch formula marketing. Easy to use and most importantly has a lot of features that help you MONETIZE the site more effectively.

I use AMember and it works good. Support is slow to get back to you and very vague when they do.

It has many options as far as payment processors and is a good no frills membership script.

If you do decide to go this route and need it customized PM me and i'll refer you to someone I have been using in canada to do my customizations. They are very affordable. I think I only spent a few hundred dollars for the initial customization and $30 and hour here and there for various extras.

I don't know what your budget is or your technical skills but...there are some easy ways you can setup a very simple membership site using a javascript login for free. Just google javascript login.

That method is not very secure because users can view login info by viewing the source. You can however disable right click and prevent most users from attempting to view the source.

If you go that route you just send customers the membership login and password in the thank you page. You can change it once a week and send out an email or whatever.

This is an easy inexpensive way to setup and test a membership site and can be done in less than a couple hours.

I write copy. I'm on Linkedin if you're curious.

Yes their support can be a bit slow at times. This has been really one of the few drawbacks so far. BTW I think I might PM you about those customizations, I've been looking for someone for this...thanks

I'm using Login Frequency Marketing by Robert Puddy for my membership site.

It's feature rich, packed full of benefits and 'bang Up To date' with the latest cutting edge tools, concepts and stratergies for automating a profitable membership site.

I got my site pre-built, complete with more than 200 members, support and coaching.

Robert, Donna and the team are experts in their field and I warmly recommend you check out how much you can do with all the value they're giving.

I hope this helps you some,

Tony

Anthony Hull the owner of EMP is making some extremely cool upgrades to the software which are going into beta very soon.

At the price he is charging, it's a no brainer to get it plus it's very, very easy to use

Regards
Kim

I use amember as well. Great support and those guys are always improving and updating the software. It's $179 but worth every penny in my opinion.

Check out the free 30 day demo they offer to see if it fits your needs. They even have a forum to ask questions before you buy.

Hope that helps,

I've said this a hundred times in the forum.

aMember + e107 gives you a system that can compete with Membergate functionality ($4500) for about $179

ALSO:

I design my websites using Dreamweaver. After watching some demos with some of these membership softwares, it looks like I have to design the website WITHIN the membership software.

Is it possible to design my website with Dreamweaver still, then just copy & paste my html into the software some how?

I build custom membership sites utilizing wordpress & premium plugins.
I vary between Wishlist, Memberwing, and a few others.

I specialize with Wordpress - no static htmls, etc.
Overall, your goal is to have flexible, scaleable functionality between the your membership application and your site. Then you'll be fine.

I also use the wordpress WordPress Membership-Plugin
It suits my purpose very well and does everything I need it to do. I considered going for free membership software but you have to look at the long term plan and none of them fitted the bill for my site. There were also cheaper options on the market but again they weren't quite right.

Hope this helps.

Enjoy the journey.
