I am starting to build my list and to do this I am going to do a giveaway of a free report. Is it cheesy to put my affiliate links in the report? Or do I save those for my blog? What have you done and what are you thoughts? Thanks, Warriors! ![]() robin |

Hi Robin, I've downloaded plenty of free reports that contain people's affiliate links. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've always assumed that that's the "quid pro quo": I get the free report and they get to put their affiliate links in it. I think many members here might agree that I'm one of the first to see "cheese" if there's any suggestion of it about, but it hadn't occurred even to me that this might be cheesy. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, if I were you. |

Hello Robin, I am currently running a giveaway gift event and I have no objections to someone Putting affiliate links in a PDF. (smart marketing) What drives me crazy is that so many put an opt-in form to join (contributors list) (A smart thing) but when you click the gift link you are magically transported to another site that you must fill in another opt-in form before you may get the gift. So to get the gift you must fill in Two opt-in forms. This sucks and I have Denied many contributors for this! Just my 2 cents worth... Good luck on your list building Articlemaddness (mike) |

Marketers giveaway freebies to get backlinks, visitors and affiliate sales. So there is nothing wrong in promoting your affiliate links along with your free content. That is one of the ways affiliates promote their links. . |
