Looking for good writer

Does anyone know a good writer for $1 per 100 words?

I've checked Upwork and I personally feel it's overpriced. $30/hr. Are you kidding me? I couldn't even get anything done in 1 hr.

You might try the Copywriting forum for better responses. Also try the Warriors for Hire. Paying $1 for 100 words won't attract great writers - you'll get what you pay for.

    Good luck to you,

You can get articles for that price on ineedarticles.com but you'll probably have to do a bit of editing. Not the highest of quality but the best I've seen in that price range.

I'll tell you something, my friend. I worked for 11 years as a content writer (in French of course, because my English is pitiful) and I asked 40 cents per word to my clients. Or $ 40 for 100 words. And I wrote about 125 words per hour. No more.

And I had a lot of work. So much work that I carefully chose my clients. And that I had to refuse most new clients.

If you want to get an idea of the price of authors who can write effectively, look at this web page:

Hey this is actually a good news. You know what you want and how much you wanna spend. No negotiations needed. So, I have learned never to take it to the personal level. I am not here to discuss whether or not I would accept this price, but to share my thoughts which can be beneficial for you. So, you have tried Upwork, and you aren't happy. Now, try Freelancer. There's a program called Preferred freelancer. So, you get your project assistant, and you say find me a writer who's happy about my budget. You'll be surprised by the results. I'm writing this with an honest wish to save you some time. I don't accept, but I respect your budget. I never say things like I don't even wanna discuss this price or similar. I just say, thank you but I can help you with this budget. So, give it a try and tell me what happened to you on Freelancer. Cheers!

Iwriter has rates that low. I have no idea how good they are at that level. At that cheap of a rate, can't hurt to test.

I have always used the top tier, which is much higher price and I only have articles that are already really good rewritten.

You won't get too much for $1 per 100 words, the quality will be pretty poor and I doubt the article will make too much sense. I would recommend trying to find new writers who are looking for experience that are native speakers and paying them slightly less than $30 per hour, however you really do get what you pay for and I don't know if you will find a 'good' writer at that rate. I'd love to hear how you go though.

That's an oxymoron Offer peanuts in payment and all you will attract are monkeys. You get what you pay for and that's the crux of the matter.

My question is: for that price, how frequent are your orders going to be. This is because, even if a good writer decides to go for that price, it must be on the basis that you will be ordering on a very regular basis.
So, how many of such orders do you intend to make in a week? If its reasonable enough, I can get you a writer.

    Cheeers!

Those saying that you can't get quality for 1$/100 words don't know what they're talking about.

Most writers at this price point will be crap, but there are some gems out there.

Many writers simply don't know their worth and severely underprice themselves.

I've bought content for 1 cent per word that could be easily be featured on sites like Buzzfeed or eHow.

Just go with people who are tested, ask for samples, and start small. Also, make sure that the writer you hire is the one actually writing the articles. The warrior for hire section is a great place to start.

Yes, we do. Anyone that can write well isn't going to be charging $1/100 words. Now, your definition of "quality" might be different than mine - that's a different story.

The world is filled with very skilled writers who simply don't know their worth. Many times, these writers are very educated and are just getting into the game.

Then, as Rose pointed out above, if they are educated, they will quickly realize they are leaving money on the table - leaving you to scramble for the next "sucker".

"Most writers at this price point will be crap, but there are some gems out there."

So how many will you have to try before you find a decent one? It can easily cost your more in the long run by paying for lousy articles over and over until the find a "gem".

And if you do find one -- how long do you think they'll keep writing for ridiculous prices once they find out what their writing is worth? You'll have to constantly search fo new writers.

Why not find a good writer in the first place and pay them a fair price?

Simple. Look for proven writers, ask for samples or review copies and don't pay until you're 100% satisfied.

Build a team of writers and you won't have to worry about losing one or two.

I have tried Upwork and have found it useful...

IMO I would set an exact budget for your project rather than an hourly rate. Also when someone provides you with their price, HAGGLE THEM.

The following line has worked well for me...

"Would you be able to complete my project for X amount? I know it's a tad cheeky but I would like to point out I have future work on the horizon for the successful candidate and I would love to build a long lasting relationship"

That seriously has worked with me and they will LOVE it

Also have you tried Fiverr? I have found the quality to be better on Upwork though when comparing.

I have also used a site before called epicwrite
