I was thinking about desktop publishing, and the print newsletters that are mailed by some marketers as part of their monthly membership programs. I know some threads have already discussed the quality of those "tangible" printed newsletters, where they lacked quality, based on the content. But I'm looking for ways to develop them, starting from scratch. I'd like to get an understanding of what people are using to develop these print newsletters, from the desktop publishing software (whether it just be word), to the actual service that prints & sends them out. For right now, does anyone know of any Word document templates that can be used to create these print newsletters? Looking for ones that may have already templated columns, or pre-made style structures. I already know of one site that offers this, but they offer a mini-magazine style structure & not a 9 1/2 by 11 style structure. I'm specifically looking for ones that have structured & various columns within the template. Obviously, it's easy to just use Word to create it from scratch, but I'm looking for a pre-populated template. |

Thanks Mike. The problem with doing a simply search like that is weeding through all the sites that want to throw up their Adsense Ads first & their actual product last. That's a major problem with search these days. I was hoping that someone would have this knowledge & direct me to a specific sample, or actual template they are using without having to weed through the noise. |

| You could also get a free trial of Microsoft Publisher and take a look at the stock layouts they have. I've been using the templates that come with Pages. I just modify them to suit my needs. On the higher end you can check out Adobe's Indesign (but I don't know if it includes any templates). Kevin |
