Single Best Traffic Source for CPA Campaigns?

Hey Warriors,

There are many big list of traffic sources on this forum to choose from, but so far I haven't found any posts about traffic sources that are very good with CPA offers. I'm curious, what's the best traffic source for CPA offers at the moment?

I'm talking about the type of CPA offers that don't require anything to be purchased, like email submits, pin submits, trial offers, downloads etc. The network that I am a part of is Maxbounty.

So if you had to choose one, what would you call your single best traffic source for CPA offers?

Thanks in advanced.

    popads.net

was my best traffic for cpa, because i broke even without optimization
so if you're good with split testing and tracking you will make a profit.

i used it for free offers, free signups, free samples etc.

Bing ads seems to be the best traffic source for CPA because you can target visitors on a keyword level and it's cheaper than FB ads and doesn't require a high deposit like PPV networks do.

Is there a specific type of offer you are interested in?

    A few good traffic sources:
    PPC (bing, Google)
    PPV (propel, 50onred, leadimpact)
    Facebook ads

Different traffic sources will be good for different offers. There are a wide range of different types of CPA offers, in very different product-areas. What works for one offer might not work for another, and vice versa.

I will give you one tip to increase conversions . . . you will usually get better results from writing a fact-based comparison of 3 similar products and recommending one as the best, giving good reasons why you recommend that one. Do that, and send traffic to that comparison page, and you will almost always convert much better than just sending traffic to a single offer.

Bing is pretty good and cheap, otherwise try facebook (FB groups too)

    My own traffic platforms.

Whether you're buying traffic or using free methods, always ensure you have asset-building integrated into your tactics and associated CMS.

I also agree that it's a must do. I don't want to be generating leads just for one party. So how do I go about this though?

I think the main thing is matching the demographics of the CPA offer with our traffic source. Then it comes down to optimizing your content for your desired action.

I found the best way to promote CPA offers that pay per sign up ( email, zip code, etc...) is to first find several cpa offers in the same niche.

Then create a report (freebie) in that same niche. After creating that freebie, build a squeeze page and give your report away in exchange for people's emails.

Once they subscribe to your list, then you can offer the free to sign up CPA offers as bonuses on your download page or in follow up emails.

    Nicholas,

Your question suggests two faulty assumptions:

1- That there is a "best" source of traffic for CPA offers - which there is not

    and

2- That what works for someone else is going to work for you - which it may not

Every marketer is different, brings different budgets, skills, talents, abilities, knowledge, etc to the table. Another marketer's best traffic source could be a total flop for you.

I do well with PopAds and DNTX. But I mainly promote mobile CPA offers. It depends on the niche and type of offers you test on these traffic sources.

As you've seen, there are lots of options and approaches.

The single best approach is the one that works best for you.

    Which one is that?

Beats the heck out of me...

I have been promoting CPA offers for over 16 years using purchased data.

I have always acquired data(email lists) because I am then building assets that I then own and can market to over and over at low cost, compared to what most marketers do...which is to pay for traffic, which often just ends up generating a bunch of clicks that don't convert well.

This really isn't a traffic strategy as much as it is a business model, as it's not going to work well with any and all offers. However, if you are not 100% set on promoting any specific offers, then it can potentially be very profitable.

I sort of get what you're saying. What figure am I looking here when
acquired data(email lists) . What's a good list size to start with, and how much is it?
