Making Money with Article Marketing

I have been studying article marketing and starting to use it. It is apparent it is the way to go. I have read many different versions of what people claim they make with it. Granted I know it all depends on a good number of factors such as your landing pages, topic etc.

With that said would you mind sharing about how much each article your write is worth each per month?

Example if you have 500 articles you make $3000 per month. I just trying to a better idea when putting my goals together.

I do not think there is a scientific way to do what you suggest. Too many variables, niche, product, demographics of customers...

But dont let that disuade you, I attest articles are a great sustainable way to drive traffic and gain optins.

There are waaaaaaaaaaay too many variables to give any kind of answer to that question. I would list some of the variables, but there are way too many.

Okay, here are just a few:

Your niche
Your title
Your resource box
Your keyword research
Your search engine ranking
Your sites conversion once someone clicks through

Those are some of the main factors that will effect the amount you make with an article. There are many more.

yep.. far to many variables as everyone has said. One article could potentially earn you thousands of bucks over time and a hundred articles might earn you $10 over time. Just write good articles that lead the reader toward the all important resource box. Base the articles on valuable keywords that have lowish competition. Promote the hell out of your articles and then get your monetization right.

This is the most important thing to remember. Too many people think article marketing is a numbers game. A lot of them find out that writing your brains out leads to burnout, disillusionment, and giving up.

You can make good money with article marketing without having to write a ton of articles or meet some self-imposed quota every day. You'll be happier and make more money if you set each article up to rank high for a good keyword.

500 articles to reach $3,000? I prefer 50. That's very doable.

Sounds and very understandable about all the variables. As I was thinking just make the sites rank well in the SERP and write great articles. The rest will happen.

I have found that some articles rank higher and drive more traffic than others and they are usually the ones that I did a lot of keyword research on, so sometimes quality is just as, if not more important than quanity.

i am an article marketer well i have come with an estimate with my earning in regards to articles, one article brings me 100 views so can you go from there...?

According to the "BUM" Travis Sago, about $20 per article per month. This is taken from the ebook "Bum Marketing Method."

"Here is a little rule of thumb I use to motivate myself...on average every article or ad I write brings in $20 a month...now this is not set in stone...but has worked out well for me...so write 10 articles and you have an extra $200 a month for months and months (If you follow the guide lines I have given with Bum Marketing)...when you start to get good at writing ads and articles...writing 10 a day is not impossible!

Of course he mentions articles and ads. But perhaps that can give you a little something to go by.

On topic:
Article marketing is a good way to start IM and learn many important aspects. Few make big money with it. To me it feels too much like another rat race / 9-5 job. I prefer more efficient ways of making money...

I am well aware of this which is why I was trying to be polite by apologizing for my inability to understand. It does not change the fact that I do not know what the message was.

On topic -> Make sure your articles rank in search engines and give a reason (benefit) for them to click the resource box. For example if your selling diet supplements, talk about the amazing weight loss benefits of your 'magic ingredient X', and then in resource box give them link to get more info on why 'magic ingredient X' works.

Get this process right before you start trying to do volumes of articles that may not bring a return. If you get it working well you will probably end up outsourcing them anyway to be able to hit bigger profits.

The amount of money you make with article marketing will depend on how much time you're willing to invest in proper keyword research. Without proper keyword research your article marketing campaign is doomed to failure. It's terribly difficult to get traffic on the internet just by writing any old content and publishing it.

Ya, It is the easy option to make good money. I used to add my affilitate links inside articles and try to get more traffic to that. I am getting success with that. However, I feel that, it is better have a high traffic blog rathere than using article directories for this.

It depends also on the quality of the article. If it is a quality article it will convert. My main purpose of submitting articles is to get the links and content on my sites. Content is king actually..But I remember my first sale online came from goarticles.com..)

You beat me to it. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life constantly writing tons and tons of articles, doing your keyword research properly and knowing that the keywords you have chosen will bring you traffic once you rank for them is a must.
