Interenet marketing investors with a twist

Hey Warriors,

I know that there are a lot of places to sell domains and website businesses.
I am looking for places to find "investors" for internet marketing businesses
much like a venture capitalist model.

Thanks for any ideas you can provide.

You might find someone at ealliancemaker.com And it's sister site.

We've arranged, in the past, for some international private placements. We could run a free ad at our web site, or, depending on your funding needs, perhaps, hook you up with someone.

Are you interested in Angel Investors? Partnerships? Strategic alliances?

Now, most of these aren't interested in small investments, AND maybe one of the crowd funding sites might work for you.

Depends on how big the plan's potential is, as seem through the eyes of guys with the money to invest. The bigger the idea, the better chance of funding.

Most private placements clearly understand RISK/REWARD and they seek risk, at least a part of their portfolio does. Also, a retired person may want to get off hands involved if the idea is of their interest.

Thanks I will check it out. Never heard about this before. That's the resourcefulness
      of this forum.

Ray, if you don't find places where investors hang out, I would suggest simply going to the places were domains and web sites are bought and sold. That's where I'd hang out if I wanted to invest some money in a web business. You will learn what that marketplace is all about and get some pretty good ideas of the range of possible investments.

i'd go to specific niche investor forums/sites

for example i was interested in properties for a while

so got a list of related places written down, just takes some research

You don't want an investor IF this is for the sig file, you would be looking for Working Partner.

Now, maybe you have 2 different things going on, but if what you are seeking is a 12k buy in partner for 60% of gross sales, then I would offer different advice.

Contact some of your students from the last few years and make them this offer. They would recoup their investment from only sales of only 20k, which should be a relative quick thing to do. So, I amend my original advice if, in case, this is the situation.

Here are a few sites that are popular and each has different strengths and weaknesses.

kickstarter.com (Maybe not what you asked about but something to consider depending on your goals.)

    invstor.com

    funded.com

    businessangels.com.au

I am not affiliated with any of them.
