Pay for it with money you can afford to lose.

    Fixed that for you.

Any business that WILL generate 8k a month (in profits) WON'T be sold for just 4k, I guarantee you.

Be careful and tread lightly, because I think someone wants to take your money. You know the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probable isn't" is there for a reason...but this isn't always the truth. I once invested $3,200 in a business over 20 years ago that still pays me this day...so sometimes it works out.

But, you are not asking for adages or sayings, you want help on how to get $4,000. The only way I would touch this business idea is on a share basis.

What do I mean by share basis, you ask? Get with the owner and tell him to show you the business and pay him over time. Get a contract that protects both of you. If it is a scam, you are protected and if it isn't he/she is protected.

I hope this helps...I answer from experience as I have been messed over more times that I care to count, but I have also won more times than I can count.

I'd suggest being real careful here.

Another thought, tell us what the business is...Give us a chance to advise you. There are those on the forum that likely know what the business is all about and can guide you. Also, some might be able to lead you to a cheaper alternative where you can make money and build up to your $4,000.
