Check what gigs get most sales and use similar tittle and description in your gig, just make sure you have your keyword in both. Social media is best way to spread your gig around the world for free.

Trying to offer a more attractive gig than your competitors are currently offering. For example if someone is translating 300 words from english to spanish you improve it and offer to translate 500 words instead of 300 for 5$.

If you design banners or logos offer unlimited revisions when starting or more than 1 concepts.

One of the biggest problems with internet now.. You want to beat your competition? Offer more for less.. Where do you think this will lead to? What happens when someone offers 10k words for $5 do you offer 11k for the same and we keep going until a new book is researched, written all under $5..

Find who your customers are, get them to like you and want to use you.. Bargain hunters will not get you rich but might just about put food on the table. Well, if you have time to eat it..

How can we increase Gig sales. Note down following Main points while you will be creating gigs.
1-Try to make gigs on that niches which have high competition . Like Logo , SEO . Because they have tons of orders.
2-your title so be short, catchy and contain main keyword.
3-Description is most important part. At first paragraph tell customer why they are here ? Second tell him
why should they use your services. At third paragraph what services will you provide.
4- use optimized tags.
5-Use video intro instead of image. (200% sales chance will increase).
6- When you offer customer into buyer section. Try to give them something free like if you will give me order i will give you one extra gig free of cost.
7-Always over delivered and give quick answer to customers. Fiverr will rank your gig and you will get sales automatically.

Be creative. Look at gigs that are selling well, and offer something similar, but with a twist. Making yourself stand out from the crowd is key to attracting customers. Make sure you make use of the service description feature and video feature on your gig profile. The more people know about who you are and what you do, the more likely they are to buy from you. Remember, in today's online world, you are selling yourself and your personal brand as much as you are your product or service. People want to buy into relationships, so you need to spend some time doing relationship marketing. When both you and your gig are unique, you have a much better chance of being noticed. Once you start getting sales, deliver quality work on time, with maybe something free that you didn't announce, and your clients will love you, keep coming back for more, and tell their friends.

To make more sales you need traffic first, it doesn't matter if you provide the best product this world has ever seen if people can't find it.

You said you are new so you account can't have too much exposure because you are not relevant. Make sure to drive some traffic to get impressions, the more impressions you do the more exposure you have, more exposure equals more sales (in case your product is good).

A good way to get more impressions is to use social networks like Stumbleupon but also you can try safe lists, you are not going to make money out of it but it's an amazing way to get traffic even if it's pure garbage traffic, helps a lot to get started!

Make sure the gigs are clear and professional. Your gig needs to stand out from the crowd so it is essential to offer serious value. May sound obvious but make sure the use of English is clear and understandable, especially on the video presentations. Videos will definitely help to sell the gig.

Nico says you need more exposure. Well, I do agree. That is important as you are competing with people who have been FIVERR mavens many years. Frankly, getting seen is not easy. Remember to do an excellent job and tell people in this forum what your gig is. That way we can help you some more.

Tips:

Please show samples of your work as in icon images.
Have extras you can throw in.
Quick service.

Firstly you can make some gigs for small work. Per gigs rate will be $5. Here you will get $4 & $1 will be deducted as service charge by the authority. You need to create unique & good looking gigs.
