Default Are you sure the Guru's are at the top?

We all look up to those making millions online who have courses, videos, etc. but me thinks there are the quiet ones out there making even more but they stay hidden. They don't have time to teach or post nor do they want to attract attention. The only reason I think this is that periodically one of these people come out of their hidden status and start talking.

They tend to be the more interesting too I find.

Gurus don't need to be at the top, they just need to:

1) Know what they teach
2) Know HOW to teach

I have no doubt there are people who make way more money than some of the most famous of gurus, but if they can't teach (or like you said, it's not worth their time), they won't and we will never hear of them.

Some people might just like to keep a low profile. If I ever have a guru level income, I highly doubt I'll have a guru level high profile to match. I like peace and quiet.

I was introduced to a UK guy that sold a website end of 07 to a major publishing company for a 8 figure sum. He used an alias online and is a shy guy who's rather good at developing major portals for popular niches. He told me he likes the fact no one knows him and will never come on sites like this!
I'm sure there's plenty more guys like him that have no desire to be 'out there' but quietly go about making the huge bucks.
