Any Keyword Analysis Tool for Amazon ?

Hi Fellow Warriors,

I am on the lookout for an application ( either web or software) that can show the keyword search volume for Amazon. But it is frustrating not to have found any.

What are the good Amazon Keyword Tool ( paid or free ) that you have used? Or do you know of any ?

Thanks in advance....

Surprisingly, Amazon itself is a great tool. Just start typing in the topic you're doing keyword research on and see what suggestions come up along with your search terms. They'll pop up right under the search bar. Those suggested search terms are the ones people are searching for the most.

This isn't the most sophisticated research method, but I've used it and know others who have with some success.

Amazon does not make its search numbers available, unlike Google or its ilk.

The best you can do is follow the previous advice and come up with a comparison between terms even if you don't get the raw numbers.

Truth be told, even the numbers you get from Google or the gazillion tools that use the API aren't all that accurate anyway.

Ya. Amazon does not reveal the number of search volume in its engine. The manual search is the best process , I guess.

I was thinking of making something like this. Can you describe the manual process you go through for keyword analysis on Amazon?

      It is the usual process.

First, find a niche keyword and find relevant keywords from Google Keyword Planner.

Then take the keywords from keyword planner and place those on Amazon search bar.

The number of search results and the sales rank of the products indicates the competition. The lower the search numbers, the lowers the sales rank of search results ( ie sales rank number is greater) , the lower is the competition.

You can search Amazon review counts to get an idea of sales volume. It's not perfect, example, some buyers don't leave reviews but it will give you a ballpark number.

Do this Google search, change the keyword (ex: dog) to whatever you need...

I wonder if tools like Keyword Tool: #1 FREE Alternative To Google Keyword Planner can be of any good use. It is a paid tool if you want to see the search volume.

Have anyone used this tool or any other tool? Whats your thought on the accuracy of these tools?
