Best Way to Go About Submitting Articles to Directories

Hi!

I'm very new here. I've been reading for a week or so.

I have just started a new website selling an e-book that I wrote. I want to get some traffic to the site, so I decided to start with article marketing by sending articles to directories.

I amassed a fairly large database (around 60 or so) of article directories. Then I wrote an article. And, I've submitted it to about a dozen places so far.

Is there a better way to do this????

Is there a better way to do what I'm doing?

Thanks!

    Search function is your friend.

But to answer your question... set up a macro.

By macros, do you mean like in a Word program? I have no idea how you could set up a macro to do that.

Or do you mean a software program that submits the articles? There is, at least, one that call itself "macro."

I'd think there might be a problem if it is too automated because of the CAPTCHA tests many of them have.

I would do it manually, with unique articles and make sure that you interlink your articles if they relate to the same niche as well. This way your articles themselves will gain some backlinks and possibly even hit a nice ranking on some search engines.

I've heard many many times to spend more time advertising your articles, have your article draw people to the site.

If anyone has a product recommendation, I'll take it. I'm looking at Brad Cullen's Article Submitter and I understand that there is something offered at the Warrior Forum website, too.

I write my own, very nice articles. I put thought into the content. I don't make junk. But, I can't be sitting around for 48 hours straight sumbitting to article directories when I know there's got to be a better way.

      Hi,
Accoring to my knowledge the best way of submitting articles to different directories is through manually, as when we submit articles to different directories, we can easily manage submissions according to the requirement of that directories and also we can put resource also in the resource box provided in some directories.

Also, I know about this tool called Article submitter that submits your articles but, I just have one problem using this tool that it submits your articles in those directories that in which you dont require any sign in.

So, it is better to submit your articles manually.

      Thanks

It is not better to submit your articles manually, unless you want to spend hours on end doing that to multiple directories. You have better things to do surely?

It's not my service. I use it and recommend it and have all my mentoring clients using it.
        Nuff said.

I use Article Submitter, which is semi auto - so you still have to manually click 'ok' to sign in and then 'submit' to submit the articles. The program just fills in the boxes for you automatically so that you don't have to type it or copy and paste it each time for each article directory. I only submit the same article to about 6 directories.

I tried Callens demo for Article Submitter Pro - I get the general idea and I think it would work, but the demo, unfortunately, did not work.

I'd like to try the software at this stage. I'm open to the idea of a service, but at this stage, I'm still experimenting.

I found another Article Submitter - Kevin Koop's version. I'm just worried something won't work - like that above-mentioned demo.

The idea of writing *high quality* target articles and manually submitting them to hundreds of directories is kind of absurd. I think if you're not doing anything on a large scale, then the manual submission theory flies. I've done it manually, so far. But... reality. That nagging thing called "reality" says that it is not humanly possible to manually submit articles to hundreds of directories. You'd never get anything else done.

I use ArticleMarketer.com. It is a great system that not only submits my articles to many directories at the push of the button, but also checks for format errors, problems with my links, etc. They are thoroughly and reasonably priced. You can try their basic version for free.
