Capture email in woocommerce checkout ?

Hi,

I need to capture the email customer even
he leave the checkout process without
order.

Can you tell me if there is a plugin to do that
in woocommerce ?

I know we can do this in shopify, but I use
Woocommerce.

    WooCommerce already has an email submit on the checkout form. Use it.

      I didn't see it (installed yesterday )

      The email is captured before the cart
      risk to be abandonned ?

      Because I need to capture the email before
      they see the shipping costs.

        First. You need to go to woocommerce support, they will help you implement this in your cart.

        Second. If you insist on getting the email before someone gets to see the shipping charges then you are going to lose big time.

          correct me if im wrong but is this a paid feature..

          im very happy with the free version... works great for my needs..

          I havent seen an after payment squeeze page feature..

          I want to do this because if a customer
          leave the order process seeing my shipping
          cost (too high for heavy orders for example),
          I can send an email to propose a less expensive
          item. And get it into my funnel.

          If I don't get the email address when he leave,
          I lose the visitor forever.

            It does not matter what you want to do, it matters what the customer thinks. I have an ecommerce site and when I showed shipping right at the beginning of the process my sales conversion increased.

            If you have the ability to charge a lower shipping fee then just do it and let people know up front. Give them a better reason so get on your list

    I think my demand was not clear.

    I want to do in Woocommerce what we can do
    in Shopify.

    Here are the features I am looking for in Woocommerce
    with free or paid plugins:

      I know exactly what you want to do and what I am trying to tell you is not to force someone into giving all their information prior to getting the shipping costs. You can provide the shipping cost up front then let them go from there. They will put the email address in and then if they abandon the cart you can follow up.

      But, you are trying to get the email first instead of providing a good shopping experience first

    there are a number of plugins for this.... Apppresser makes one, Woocommerce checkout manager would be another. there are ways to code this.. plenty of ways to get this done.

    As Al states.. more often than not, your conversions will drop by not displaying shipping up front.. people want to know how much something is going to cost first. The reality is this.. if they are actively in the process of buying from your store and you don't show shipping.... they will find another store and buy it... Open cart or not, they will have purchased what they are looking for in minutes from the time they leave your site.

    But regardless of what our experience will tell you.... the options above will ( should ) get the results you are looking for!
