From what (little) I understand about Live Event videos, they're supposed to rank much better than "regular" videos when you post them on You Tube, right?

On the other hand, they're tied to a specific date on which the "event" occurs, right? Like the date of a webinar, the release of a product, etc. .. right?

If so, doesn't that mean that if your event is 2 weeks from the time you publish your live event video, that it will only rank - or be displayed, even? - for 2 weeks?

If so, I couldn't use them for long-term ranking of affiliate products or local businesses or the like, right?

Oh, and is it pretty much the same way for Face Book Live Events - or are they different animals?

Thanks,
Richard

Live Events can rank before and after the "broadcast" time and date.
