I am going to be setting up some drop shipping sites and I am trying to decide which ecommerce software to get. Ideally I would like to use a free platform like magento or zen cart. To be perfect it needs an easy way to notify dropshipper thst a sale has occured. It also needs to support multicurrency with paypal. I want the site to lookup the customers IP and set the local currency automatically based on what country they are in. This code is available on net so I may need to pay a freelancer to do this addon. Can anyone give me any suggestions on what ecommerce scripts to use? |

I can't decide on a shopping cart either. I did find out that Magento has to be run on a private server, you can't use it on a shared hosting plan (which is all I can afford right now). SO.... looks like probably Zencart for me.

I have my own server, it lets me set magento up in normal hosting accounts. I am confused which to go for. I have used oscommerce before and spent some time learning it, but I do not want to use it again as it can be very slow to load and addons seem to conflict with each other often. |
