Any Successful Lazada Affiliates Here?

Hey guys - I just signed-up to Lazada affiliate program and started promoting some of the products listed on their website. Any successful Lazada Affiliates here who can share some tips/experience? Their tutorials are very poor, so I'm just trying to learn things on my own. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is quite similar to selling with Amazon in my opinion. Haven't try this one, but then, if you target terms like "product name + price in Malaysia" or "product name + price in Singapore", then you can steal some traffic there.

What do you mean "+ price in Malaysia" and "+ price in Singapore"? I have sold 8 products so far. But the commission is too small per product sold.

I haven't try this company, but I've promoted and made money with Amazon before. Try Google this keyword, "Samsung Galaxy S6 price in Malaysia". The one that appears on top (technave) is one of the Lazada affiliate, with affiliate links included there. You can look at that website and replicate his method.

That being said, my method is SEO. Based on your profile, I assume that Facebook Ads is your specialty, so this method might not be suitable for you. Also, I found that promoting physical products by using ads is less suitable at least for US market, based on my testing with Amazon before. The commission is small because the company must pay shipping and handling.

Thanks for your reply! I'm seeing a promising result. I have sold 186 units so far. But again, the commission is too small. I'm trying to find a way to somehow set a meeting with the Lazada affiliate team if they could give me a special commission rate.

I started out Lazada last May. Didn't focus on it at the start, sold 5 items from May to October... just around $18. Just like amazon, commissions are low compared with digital products. Maximum is 10% for fashion items.

But this November, I gave it a boost. I sent 10,000 CLICKS! 40 conversions (still pending), and a pending payout of $50.

Their validation process is SLOW. Not all conversions will be approved, I had some rejected already. Might be because the customer refused to pay. But basing on our experience as a SELLER (not an affiliate) in Lazada, their delivery process is HORRIBLE making the seller either cancel the order or refused to pay because they already bought a product elsewhere due to late delivery of Lazada. Also note that a large percentage of buyers opt to use cash on delivery, passing all the risk to the seller. Sometimes buyer just refuse to pay or even deny that they made the order!

It's already December, and all of my November conversions are still pending even after reaching out to my affiliate manager. I think they lack manpower especially this holiday season.

If I see a lot of rejects and if validation will take more than 2 months, I'll stop promoting lazada and look for other ways to monetize my traffic.

Anyone else experience this slow validation process and rejected conversions?

      Hi jsanmiguel,

Did you get any pay out of Lazada Affiliate Program already? I think we're on the same shoes. I just reached the minimum payout of USD25 last November. It's already the 13th of January yet I have not received a single pay yet. How about you? Thank you.

@carlamejia... Already did. Got my November and December payout already. Just reach out to your affiliate manager and do a follow-up. They do a manual validation of all sales I think, that's why I got mine on the 2nd week of the following month.

They have been paying me every 15th of the month. Perhaps you haven't reached the minimum payout. I'm already earning between $1,000 to $2,000 per month. In my experience, 5% to 10% of my conversions get rejected during the validation.

Dude how did you do this!? That's awesome!

Is this from Facebook ads? I mean the traffic?

No. The commission rates are too low to cover the Facebook ads cost. So I just built a website to drive free traffic to Lazada.

Why would I give you all the info that I do to make money on Lazada? Hahahaha The purpose of this thread is know if there are other Lazada affiliates in this forum and let them narrate their own Lazada experiences. The last thing that Internet Marketers want is to have someone copy their internet marketing strategy.

Here are some screenshots of my Lazada affiliate invoices and sales:

Unfortunately, I already stopped promoting Lazada products since May 2017 because they decreased the commission rates significantly sometime in May. Also, it's getting harder to get conversions now since they lessen the promotions and discounts for all the products.

            • Ive been an affiliate with lazada and with a blogger.. this photo is definitely a fake!

your screenshot says you have payout for the half month of the year 2017 but your graph says you only started to have a conversion on the last 2nd quarter of the year.. the whole photo including amount and graph and payouts doesn't sync at all.. pilipino ako pero di ako hambog pucha!

the photo is definitely a fake.. i am a lazada affiliate the graph shows he just started to have a conversion the 2nd quarter of the year 2017 but the payments including the conversion does not sync at all..

i have received an invoice from them.. its only 23 dollars.. i have not reach the 25dollars.. but i sent an irate email to them bout the sudden rejections and sudden rejection. i will make a blog with my experience with lazada affiliate .. you may visit my website at ladylskinessential blog spot

yes... i lived in ph.. started blog ladylskinessential blog .. with very small commission.. if you reach the threshold of 25$ theres additional 30 days before it will be reflected on your bank..

there will be no reply... i think they are focused on the customer itself but for the affiliate they are low in support

i think alibaba invested millions on lazada... grrrr.... and still poor affiliate support..

    Can I check your site?
If you have a successful niche or affiliate site - the LAST thing you would do is give out your link on a public forum. That would ensure the niche would be overrun with people trying to copy what you've done.

A year later - you bump the thread announcing you won't be sharing your methods with anyone.

Why would I give you all the info that I do to make money on Lazada? Hahahaha
Why would anyone be interested in the screenshots months after you quit the program?

I have a fb group of over 126k members. I have a blog with 500 unique visitors a day and so far I've earned a whopping 31 US cents. I made more with google adsense. This week I sent them 478 clicks and not one conversion?! Are you kidding me?! I won't be using them much longer.

Thank God I stopped promoting Lazada a year ago. They just seemed shady plus really low commissions. Frankly, if you're going to promote to a Philippine audience then you're better off with adsense because even with high ticket items the maximum commission they'll give you is 500 pesos ($10).
