How should I go about this?

Hey Warriors! Hope you are all doing fine!

So I wanted to ask. I'm doing Udemy course affiliate marketing. And I'm making a little bit of money BUT I want to do better. And my problem is that I can't figure out how to build my audience since it's not very targeted. Because simply there are courses on a lot of topics. So I'm wondering now how should I build my audience, my FB page followers. Should I try to make couple different squeeze pages with different topics (web development, marketing, forex) and build email lists? Maybe guys you could give me some other ideas? Thanks!

Why not just stick to one squeeze page and one subject and make it sell? You have to be targeted - if you do not have a target, you shoot out of the target, and you make a hit by sheer luck - if ever.

Makes sense, just a problem if I would use paid ads I would have a problem with targeting. It would be very expensive. Because I tried to get some likes for my FB page with FB ads and it was veery expensive.

There are so many social networking sites are available out there to discuss different kind of topics and you can closely watch the people's views on those topics. You can try those platforms which is very effective nowadays.

    Hey Buddy,

Great job on doing the course btw.

With internet marketing- there are two main traffic sources- free and paid- both offer their advantages/disadvantages.

Firstly with free- you may want to consider (i know you mentioned facebook followers so i assume you have a page already), instagram, forum marketing, blog commenting just to name a few. While these methods are literally cost free they do cost your time. That is most definitely something to consider as free traffic takes longer to get real traction. The key to it really is- give valuable content, content your potential customers are going to find helpful. Take a step back from the sale and begin to nurture your relationships with your prospective clients.

With paid traffic- things like solo ads/banner ads- you are a little more in control imo. With solo ads especially, if you were to type in 'Solo Ads Testimonial' in facebook you will see a fantastic page where users review their Solo Ad experience with a specific provider so to speak- with opt in rates, conversion %. Its a great tool to start truly targeting and ensuring that you have a ROI as much you could do.

What i've mentioned above it just a real basic overview of it- so if you want any more in depth advice on it all, then just give me a shout- Ultimately where you want to get to is creating your own list- which would be captured from your own squeeze page- but to begin with i would explore the above options and get some real traction from them.

    Hope this helps,

    James.

Thank you for your reply. But I don't think you understood my question. I'm not promoting my own course. Like I said I have a website with coupons to many Udemy courses. And my problem is that I don't know how to create my audience since I don't have any specific niche.

I know this might not be the answer you want to hear but I think that you should just not say anything. And the reason I say that is because 1.You're in a relationship. So what happens if he likes you back? Your feelings might grow stronger knowing he feels the same. 2. How would you feel if your boyfriend was telling another girl he had feelings about her?? Just think about it. Sometimes silence really is golden. Don't ruin what you have dwelling on someone from the past.
