    What I have learned is keep it short and go easy on your memory. Mikes Bikes is easy to remember, but corvette you bet is a little too long to type in. Also, make sure you can get the dot com domain name. That can prove expensive. I remember paying $6,000 for a three letter domain name that was not in use. Registering a trademark is only $600 per name.

    I like short names. That might be just me. However, I feel they are well worth the money.

    BTW, do not use "Z" names. Those are often available as a dot com, but they sound generic. What do I mean? For example, zyproximor sounds like medicine for high blood pressure. Something that you do not want is your product to sound like it belongs in a bottle in the pharmacy on the corner.
