I would drop their mod an email just to be sure. I think I read it differently.

E-junkie is good for starting out, I had problems with them as a info publisher, when I went live, I was emailed and was told my shopping cart was empty... Lost me some money for sure. I use Click2Sell now, there is no monthly cost. They only charge you when you actually MAKE a sale. So you might want to check that out!

That's a good question and I'd like to hear the answer when you get it.

There is one other approach you could use if you want to manually accept affiliates one by one. You can set the base commission to 0%, and then manually set the commission rate of individuals to the desired rate through the admin area.

I was looking at having only people I know and trust using my own E-Junkie aff program, and that was how I planned to do it.

    I agree with Alexa.

This indicates that you are not allowed to charge people to join your affiliate program. It has no bearing on your paid membership site.

I read it like Alexa does. Still probably need to ask for clarification.

Been quite happy with e-junkie so far. A broken script/no support worth a flip left me stranded so I moved there for now. A plus was I picked up affiliates.

This just sounds like you can't charge people to join e-junkie and sell your products.
I sell an affiliate product through them and I get paid.

That sounds to me like you cannot use e-junkie for a members-only (paid membership) affiliate program. As in, give only your paying members access to the affiliate program. Am I correct?

If I am correct, I want to know if PayDotCom allows you to restrict access to your affiliate program to only members of your website. The main reason I want to do this is because I only want people who actually use the service to be able to promote it.

    Thanks

There are lots of programs out there that will facilitate only your members being able to promote as affiliates. i.e. only people who actually use the service are able to promote it.

Paydotcom, doesn't restrict access unless you go into the back office and BAN those that aren't members.

    BUT POINT TO NOTE!

The point to note here is that people quite often use different email addresses for [1] public forums [2] paydotcom accounts [3] paypal accounts [4] affiliate accounts [5] for any other reason.

So how can you be sure that a member is a member? only by using a robust membership script with it's own inbuilt affiliate system.

Feel free to pm me if you would like some guidance on which one is the best for you.
