I would offer 100% commissions on front end sales. Product launching is a snowball effect, let your affiliates go out and bring you people that have proven they will open their wallet for your products. Make money on the back end, and after a launch or two, you'll have a list of buyers you can promote to.

Then, the affiliate world is a "you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours" world. Join other JVs, promote their offers, generate sales for them, and you'll find yourself with several good prospects to work with and be able to create products either together, or that complement each other.

If you market your affiliate program correctly yes. But just listing on JVzoo and waiting.... no, no one will more than likely promote your course.

Why do you feel you need "a ton of money to put up front?" Who is asking you to do that?

I think the top affiliates want to sell for people with a proven track record of great products, people that will stand behind their products, and people that will pay them unquestionably.

In most cases, that means people with a proven track record of great selling products. You don't have that experience or record just yet, so you shouldn't be surprised that affiliates aren't begging you to join your affiliate program.

Do the best you can with what you have to offer. Gaining experience so you can prove your business know-how and credibility, especially in the beginning, is very important, maybe even more so than making a lot of money on your first product.

Stay in touch with affiliates that you've contacted so that you can show them that you are for real and that you can deliver the goods.

Affiliates are no different than any other business partners . . . they want you to prove that you are forthright, honest, and can offer products that will sell well. Over time, you prove that by your sales results.
