Problems With Bing Ads

Is there any one here who knows about Bing Ads that can help. This is my issue. I am advertising one of Sarah's affiliate links. Where you have to input a 'display' url, I have tried many and I keep getting a message saying disapproved.

Even though I use part of the affiliate url I still keep getting that message. Here's my question. If I buy a domain name from say Go Daddy, and do a redirect to my affiliate url, would that be approved as a display url?

I hope whoever reads this can understand what I'm trying to say as it does seem a bit complicated. Thanks in anticipation.

    i think you put your affiliate link in display url section if it is.... bing not allows you direct linking..

    I suppose the other option is to provide a link to your very own blog post, if you have one, related to the product you want to promote.

    I think they don't like affiliate links so you may want to get your own website and post the affiliate link there. This is the way to go.

    I had this same problem, the target url can be what ever you want(your affiliate link), but the display url has to be exactly the same as or really close to the landing page url. So what you should have done was take the landing page url and use it as the display url and it would have been approved. People do this all the with click bank products.

    Your sadly wasting money direct linking. If you can make money from a 1% conversion then well done,


    But wouldn't you rather see a 30-40% opt in rate on your landing page, get a chance to repeat sell and have a future asset?

    Now that you have your own domain, get some hosting and create native ads on your blog. Send traffic to your posts. Direct linking leaves a ton of money on the table and you're not building an asset. in today's environment there is no reason to direct link, all the tools are dirt cheap.

    1. Build a super simple landing page (do NOT send PPC traffic here)
    2. Construct native ads on your blog (Use pages not posts and send traffic here)
    3. Strip everything from your blog (no side bars, nothing), except...
    4. Use links to the offer in your native ads
    3. At the bottom of every native ad include a call to action to your landing page.
    4. Add an exit redirect to the offer if they do not go on your list or proceed through one of your links to the offer on their own.

      I'm really interested in the whole native ads things. I am doing great as an affiliate marketer and have been since 2009, but I have heard through the networking I do with lots of other successful marketers that there is a killing to be made with native ads and I want to add another lucrative income stream to my business.

      I just recently picked up a course called "ArbiCash" that breaks down the entire native ad arbitrage model, and I'm going to be diving into that soon. It's put out by a marketer I know, and I am sure the content will be killer and will teach me what I need to know about arbitrage, but there are a couple of questions I have right now and you seem very knowledgeable about this.

      You said to "construct" native ads on your blog. What do you mean by that? Do you mean that you should create the ads yourself using the crazy images and outrageous titles that you often see in native ads? If so, I can easily do that using Photoshop.

      Also, here's a question that if you could answer I would be totally psyched:

      How do you create the type of posts you often see on the viral websites that are loaded with native ads?

      For example, let's say the title of the post is: "Then & Now: 10 Celebrities Who Got Totally Ruined By Cosmetic Surgery!" These are often the types of viral click bait you see in these ads. People click on them like crazy to see the "before and after" pics.

      When you get to the post page, they are set up like a slideshow. They have arrows on either side or a "NEXT" button below the image, and when you click the arrow/button it brings you to the next image and there is a picture and usually a few lines of explanatory content underneath. Now, it seems like the post is all on the same page and is being run by the slider.

      I'm thinking they do this so that the native ads are always visible and there to catch your eye, since with arbitrage the idea is to get the traffic in cheap and make money when someone clicks on one of the native ads.

      I am looking for a way to set my posts up like this.

      I suppose I could just as easily put a "next" button underneath each part of the post, but in the example I used above with the 10 celebrities, that would require me to use 10 pages for that one post.

      Surely there is a plugin that allows you to "chain" or "connect" the post together so it is all on the same page?

      Can anyone give me any idea how this is done?

      I have scoured through the WordPress plugin library with no luck. I know they cannot be using up 20 pages just for one post. Sometimes they have posts with 30 or 40 items or more.

      What plugin would allow you to do this?

      Are they using a new page for each photo? Is this what is referred to as a "chained" post?

        Do a search for a Wordpress Plugin for Post Splitter, believe this is what your looking for.

    Just to clear some things up from what some have said

    1. You can direct link on Bingads. I do it all day long with affiliate links.

    2. There could be a number of reasons why you go the error. If you where to post the EXACT message or a screen shot of the issue I could probably get you sorted.

    3. Your display URL has to be the final domain that the user lands on. If you use your own domain in there and do a meta fresh you are breaking the Advertising policy for Bingads. Not a big deal as they generally just slap you and you can move on.

    4. A positive ROI is a positive ROI. While a landing page to capture an audience which you then can remarket with via e-mail is great it does not always back out. There are plenty of times where direct linking has been the best option for me.
