Websites for Sale Question

Has anyone had experience buying an existing website that has revenue? If so, do you know where to go to find them? I'm looking to buy a website that is already in existence with proof of profit, traffic, etc.

I have an affiliate website right now which I bought that was a niche turnkey website but it is not doing anything and am finding it hard to make any money with it at all. So, I would like to find a legitimate website that actually makes money that I could manage myself.

Any information anyone has would be appreciated.

    Seriously? Well, and have you been looking for the reason why is it so "hard to make any money with it at all"? Because, if you cannot find the answer to that question I strongly doubt you will ever make it even if you buy a "website that has revenue"!

    A website that already "generate revenue" will not continue to generate it indefinitely if you do not do/know what it takes to keep that revenue flowing in.

    Maybe you are going the wrong avenue, maybe you should start by seriously analysing what's going wrong with the actual website you already have bought and make it a ROI. Maybe you would need mentoring / coaching and that should be where you should spend money instead of spending more on a "website" without yet knowing what you are doing or need to do to make it a success?

    Some food for thoughts!

    It's a good question. I have a big deal of experience in selling websites (they were not in English). I found sellers on forum communitis.
    Unfortunatelly, there are not so many well-established websites on Flippa.
    Ask yourself: if you had a website generating $1000 a month, would you sell it for $10k?

    Flippa has "verified analytics" which lets you see the site's traffic and AdSense revenue based on GA. While sites that make money with AdSense are technically the safest bet (since the revenue is verified), you can never know how much money was spent on marketing to make those sales.
