Let's look at the newbie and laugh ( but seriously, help!)

I'm way over my head on this one, I jumped into CB affiliate marketing pretty much on an almost blind whim.

I read a short article on how to target the 'right' CB product to promote, some of the hops are from my youtube hijacked links and the other half are from PPC advertising on bing.

Suffice to say, I am failing miserably.

I've set up a lead capturing page for the most popular product about 200 hops in, and thus far I am getting ZERO subs.

Please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am seriously losing hope here.

Thanks in advance.

If you are getting traffic to your lead capture page, but no signups, then maybe your lead capture page is the problem.

I recommend you post the link to your lead capture page hear so other warriors can look at it and maybe give you some advice on how to make it convert better.

You said you have a lead capture page, Are you capturing the lead or just redirecting to the sales page? Do you have a autoresponder sequence set up so you can follow up once you capture the lead?

Here's my lead capture page. It's my attempt to capture prospects from the 'going green' niche.

The page has a link that goes directly to the sales page if they don't want the free report.

I'm using aweber as my autoresponder and I have an auto follow up set up, but it's moot because I am getting no signups.

I have sent this link to a few friends of mine and they have confirmed the whole sequence worked.

      Listen to Al.
Honestly, think you should pack it up and call it a day if you do not have a full Funnel set up with Follow Up Emails to build a relationship with your Prospects and eventually sell them good stuff

        He is using an autoresponder.

Very good information and questions above. Although, the timing it takes to get the clicks is irrelevant. It makes no difference if you received them over 1 day or 14 days.

I'll add that normally, a opt-in page that isn't converting is either the result of a bad opt-in or the result of poorly target traffic.

    Is this a page or a pop-up? It looks like a pop-up.

    A few things:

    1. there's nowhere to enter your email? I assume it shows after you click the button but it should be right above or next to it on this page. You have to make things as easy as possible.

    2. Too much text in my opinion. There's 65 words of text that repeats the same thing about 3 times. To me, the last paragraph adds to value. I'd get rid of it or add a check list like

    - keep your family healthy
    - etc
    -etc

Again, the purpose is to make it easy for the reader.

    3. A lot of the sentence structure doesn't make any sense. There's a spelling error "you family". Why are you telling people to "Wait"? Is this an exit pop-up?

    4. Not a huge fan of "can you risk not knowing?", I'd try something more direct like "you can't risk not knowing this"

Thank you for the helpful feedback, I am trying to devour all I can online about building a proper capture page now.

Currently I stopped all my ads from running, because it's obvious whatever I am doing is not working at all.

Never send traffic to a vendor sales page.

Sorry if I missed you explaining it, but does that "Send me Report" open up to a new Page where they put their email info in to get it ? I assume it does ?

As Gambino said, change that around and get their Email right then and there. Do not make them go thru another "hoop" to get it

Also, I would change the whole Optin Gift around. Imo, you are going to get more response if you say to people that you will GIVE them a List of the top ten Green Products that you must have to live a Healthy and Safe Life

And get rid of the "No thanks I do not want a Free Report today " at bottom

From looking at the squeeze page I would do 2 things.

First get rid of the button you click to get the report I am assuming that the button leads to a page with the sign up form. Put the sign up form on that page

Second: Get rid of the No thanks I do not want the report today. That is a link sending people away, and they do not know where they are going, that is why you are getting hops but no sales.

Once you get people to your squeeze page they are yours and you need to keep them and not send them away
