This is probably a silly question but it's one that im stuck with. I'm going to build my own landing page/funnel to promote other peoples products.

However, what should i name the domain? Is it legal to use the title of the product etc?

Or what should i name the domain? does it really make that much of a difference.

Thanks
Michael

Before you settle on a domain name, make sure that you are not infringing on the Trademark or Tradename already registered by someone else.

If you use the name of a product that you don't own, chances are good that you might be putting yourself at risk, even if the product owner hasn't yet registered the name.

You need to avoid creating confusion in the mind of the prospect over which site is "official" or authorized by the product creator.

If you have more than one product that you are going to promote, it would be smart not to name your domain with a product name so that you can promote several things from one domain.

Steve B is right - but try to think of something that works with different subdomain names (at no extra cost) for different niches. eg if you have a domain like superbargains.com (terrible name but stay with me), then if you wanted to promote dog products, you could use dog.superbargains.com for dog products, and survival.superbargains.com for survival products and so on. One domain name can be reused many times this way.

Yeah agree with all, reusuable domain names are wonderful.

      mainniche.com

      subniche1.mainniche.com
      subniche21.mainniche.com

      or

      mainniche.com/subniche

      etc.

use a niche related generic domain name
