Is there a way to Split Test Landing Pages On Different Domain Than Success Page??

Hi Warriors!

Let's say I have two landing pages on ExampleDomain.com.

And I want to split test them to see which convert the best.

But the success page is on ExampleDomain2.com

I use Google Analytics experiments and I can put in both landing pages into the experiment and I create the "goal" in analytics (which is if someone hits ExampleDomain2.com/success

...but it's not tracking any sales because the landing pages are on a different domain than the success page.

Is there a way to do this in Google experiments? Any suggestions?

Thank you.

  • I don't believe you can do this with Google Experiments, however you can do it with ease with a click tracking software like ClickMagick or QualityClickControl.

Or.. if you want a free option I recommend you use the same domain for both landing pages (As obvious as this sounds.. and you probably though of this already )

    Hope this helps
