Default Article Alley Question

Hello Fellow Warriors,

Does anyone know anyone at article alley? Or have a contact email or something that actually gets a response?

I need some help with fixing an urgent problem and there has been no reaction or response from them after more than a week of inquiries.

Thanks!

Elisabeth

I really can't help you with the email, but I can help you by telling you that article alley is a nofollow directory, so I wouldn't give them an article ever, at all and never

Wow! Thanks for the tip.

BTW, how can I tell whether they are a follow or no follow site?

You can view one of your articles, right click and select "view page source".

then search for your link and make sure it doesn't have
rel="nofollow"

along with it.

Also, at top of source there can be a <meta robots "nofollow"> that I believe affects all links on the page.

Elisabeth, if your problem is urgent, then forget about it. Their customers support is one of the worst customers support service I ever seen.

They responded to a copyright infringement notice after a few WEEKS, and only after I also sent my claim to their host. My tweet on the same topic was responded after more than 3 MONTHS.

If you still want to try ... contact TRICIA at editorial@theirdomainname. However, she may be out of office for some weeks again

Hi Adrian,

thank you so much for the info on Article Alley! I'll write to Tricia and hopefully, she will respond.... With Labor Day coming up, maybe she'll be back from vacation now???

In view of all this, it's really good news that they are no-follow site, as acedalright said.

BTW, how DO you find a website's hosting info?

Thanks again.

Elisabeth

Thanks so much, PCRoger. I'll check out ALL the article directories now!

Don't confuse a vacation with a poor customers support. [I was not talking about facts that happened during the Summer, and anyway Summer is not a reason for providing a poor customer support.]

You misunderstood. The fact that an article directory is nofollow is BAD news for an articles writer.

who.is and domaintools.com help you find a lot of info about a website

Update:

1) A customer service person finally appeared, apologized for the delay, and took care of the problem. So I'm relieved and much happier with Article Alley.

2) About the remark that it was good that it was nofollow...

I was being sarcastic. Considering the fact that there was a major problem with one of the articles, I was glad nobody would find it!. Of course, that has been resolved now.

Of course, I totally agree that nofollow in article directories defeats the whole purpose!

Thanks for the helpful info!

Elisabeth

Next time use => <= and there won't be any misunderstanding

Good that you solved the issue.
