What do people want?

So I've been learning how to do a little internet marketing over the past year , but i have yet to actually set off and do something about it. Ive dabbled in wordpress, even created my own webpage, learned about hosting and tried writing some blogs here and there. The problem that I'm having is finding a niche that people are buying within. Where do i start? i mean ive checked out amazon, google adwords, and even tried market samurai, I just don't feel like I'm getting anywhere. How can i found out what people want to buy?

    ) Go to eBay. Type in "Best Selling". Then sort by SOLD listings. Organize by Highest Price first. NOW you can see what people want, what they spend money on.

    2) Amazon. Best Selling Items. Price: High to low. Again, you KNOW what people want.

    3) Google Best Sellers. SHOPPING. Sort high to low price.

    You just spent 15 mins and now you know what people want. Look for a product, book topic or something you can market.

    This to get you started. Then, you can learn some other methods for finding hot markets, but you got to start simple and get going.

        One could even assert the "make money" products and services relate to sex....

        You'll rarely find a wealthy person who doesn't have people who want to be around him or her.

          I agree with the above. Anything related to the health industry, especially weight loss, organic foods, etc are what people are buying now.

          If you are good at social media, maybe create a poll at leaderpoll dot com and post it on your site asking what products people are interested in buying. Ask friends and research popular products on Ebay and Amazon.

          You may be interested in Drop Shipping, it is the new way to sell items. You pretty much find an item on Amazon or Ebay and sell it to the other side. If you find it on Ebay, sell it on Amazon, vise versa. It would take a little research to compare prices and find the products that people are buying, but I think it would be worth your time. DO NOT invest in the companies that "tell" you how to Drop Ship. The only pro for them is that they set-up your team and you get bonus commissions on products that they sell.

          just remember to come at whatever niche you choose with your unique spin..

          tell your story. it will make it easier for people to relate with you.

      As about as simple and spot on as you will get it. It's not hard. Look at your own self and the problems you face in every facet of Life. Then just go from there. Make sure it is a problem with enough people to warrant pursuing it.

      And make sure they open their wallets. usually using Google KY tool can give you insight on that with CPC Bids etc..

    People are overweight------>they want a pill or diet that will make them lose weight.


    There dog pees on the carpet----------->they want dog house training guide.


    People hate their 9-5--------->they want products and tools to make money online!

    I'll give this one for free -- I have a website dedicated to old cable cords, people are always looking for replacements and conversion. It's easier to rank since every one is focus on weight loss, health, and all that stuff. enough said.

    Terapeak.

    This software is centered around eBay, it will help you decide what is popular and whats not. I'll not go into to much detail here as I already have on previous threads. You can avail of a free week subscription on sign up, after that there is a fee.

    Basically create a list of a load of niche ideas and products that you have. Learn how to use terapeak inside out via articles/forums/youtube/PM if you want. Next get your free weeks subscription and test out your product ideas.

    The software will tell you useful things like the number of competitors, the number of sales, and so on, within a given period.

    It really is great, I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it.

    There's people buying in every niche. But they all have different buying habits. What are you selling? It sounds like you probably don't have an actual product, so I'd focus on either people looking to make money online, or selling digital tools to people who are already trying to make money online.

    If you pick a niche just for the money, I recommend you to find another job.

    Your niche should be your passion, your hobby, something you love or want to learn.

    You need to create relevant and good content, also interact with your audience. You think you can do all of that about some shitty niche you don't even care?

    These days everyone is doing the same, we all want to make money online .... the only way to stand out from the rest is being original with passion.

    You want to know why people doing that is finding success? Because they don't think about money, they do it even for free! That's how they make money.
