When I tried to update some plugins with the latest WP update I kept receiving update failed messages so I decided to try deleting one (the SEO plugin) and reinstalling it, but it also won't upload ANY plugins, I get a "Critical Error" message when trying to FTP the plugin.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Thanks

Alan

    Hi Alan

With some new wordpress updates, some plugins are only created with earlier versions in mind. Have you tried visiting the plugin owners site to see what versions his plugin works with?

      Hi Jon

No, I had an update message so I'm assuming it's already from the plugin owner as they don't all require updating when a new version of WP comes out. But the thing that concerns me is the inability to upload any plugins.

Oh and BTW the Wordpress automatic update plugin won't update as well.

      Thanks
