Hello my fellow warriors. There are some really interesting ideas floating around in this forum which undoubtedly had inspired me to dig deep into the world of entrepreneurship. Marketing is a very fascinating field and it contains enough space for creativity to flourish. I'm 99% sure that many members on this forum enjoy colorful advertisements that portrays facts with eye catching animations. But have you guys ever used animations for marketing? If yes, how did it work out for you guys? I would love to know your opinion on this.
Still image has its own charm and has the ability to attract viewers towards your product as compare to text based advertisement. But if you want to keep your client's focus intact on your advertisement then I think GIFs can do wonders for you. In this thread, I'll focus on different fascinating perks of incorporating GIFs in your marketing world.

1. Eye catcher for viewers.

Animation experts categorize GIFs as '' photographs that are alive''. How perfect it would be that you can embed still images to form a hybrid between a picture and video!! According to Internet Retailers, emails containing a GIF generated 12% more revenue than non-animated versions. Cool hann!!. In short, it saves time for your client to go over your product and increases the probability for your business to flourish.

2. It portrays 'call to action vibe' vibe

The best part about GIFs is that you guide the viewer along a sequential path without obstructing his/her attention. Therefore, when you achieve your client's attention you can guide their eyes towards the message your ad is trying to represent. This is one of the keys for effective 'call to action'.

3. You can add emotional touch in your advertisement.

They say 'seeing is believing'. Personally, I love TV commercials which attach emotional touch just to sell a simple product. For example most of us have seen that Procter and Gamble (P&G) advertisement on mother's day. People were more touched with the message as compare to the product itself which is pretty fascinating. Similarly, forming a same connection with your ad can generate trust between you and your clients.

4. Can be used to show your company's culture:

Portraying your company's culture to your clients make them feel like a family. It tells that you're not hideous with your work environment and you enjoy showing your day to day interaction with your employees. Definitely one of the plus points of using a GIF.

5. How to create them:

There are different free sources available online which you can use to play around and test your GIFing skills. The best one are Giphy , EZ GIF and Make a GIF. All these sources are worth a try.

GIF is one of the most fascinating thing out there to interact with your clients. Give it a try and see the results yourself.

Cheers-James
