    discrat,

I was walking my dog today and at first wondered why there were so many stood around near the end of the square near the beach, my son said 'Dad - get with it - it's the closest PokeStop! to home'

Well I got thinking there has to be a way to cash in on this madness!! LOL, the first thing I thought about was good old affiliate marketing. So if you already have or - or don't - then go get some, affiliate memberships for eBay, Amazon and iTunes and start marketing Pokemon related products!

      Al,
I hate to say it but it is not just children. Adults in my Sunday School are talking about doing it with their kids. And they get addicted and start doing it without their kids, stopping on the side of the road etc..

That's the funny thing, most aren't even children, many of the players are 20+!

Please note when I said children I used " "

But none the less, my question still stands, what are you going to sell these "Mature Grownups". and how do you connect with them,

Sell what they're already clearly interested in. Apps, DS games, Pokemon themed clothing. Hell, anyone else seen the phone cases being released especially for the app?

      https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourc...cases&tbm=shop

Some include extra plastic on the front to help guide your finger to catch Pokemon.

I think it's silly to look down upon app gamers or Pokemon fans anymore than other people you'd sell to.

No offense, but these "mature grownups" have plenty of money to spend.
Trust me, I'm a gamer myself. It is not a cheap hobby. And that's just casual players, find and target the hardcore Pokemon franchise collectors and you've found a goldmine.

Even Pokemon cards on Ebay are selling like hot cakes right now.

You connect with local businesses.. get their place listed as a PokéStop or gym.

And how do you do this. I just did some quick reading and this is currently not possible. Getting a poke stop listed is done by request, it is not guaranteed, and the place has to be of some significance. That leaves out most businesses.

Although, the developers are now looking into sponsored spots and gyms. According to the New York Times article they are working with some retailers (names not announced) so you can probably imagine they are going to be big money stores and that will leave out all the little guys.

The point I am trying to make is. If you are going to put the effort into a new site, list, SEO, and all the other things that make up our internet businesses, why put it into something that will probably be yesterdays news in less than 6 months from now. Find an evergreen niche and take the same amount of time effort and money and build a revenue stream that will last years instead of months.

I am assuming CoC means clash of clans, if not provide a link. I went to the facebook page and did not see any pokemon go posts. I even used their search box, still nothing, even tried google
