Landing page trafic sources/sales tunnells suggestion needed

Hi guys,

I need some kind of an advice with my service/landing page.

So, I am a programmer and I came up with an idea of service for start-up founders who are on the stage of creating a landing page. I mean functional landing pages where visitor can interact with the page, experiencing some first 'idea' of the future product, gets involved (e.g. basic referral system/survey/demo/etc.). From my previous experience some people are willing to get this sort of landing pages for their startups.

I created a landing page for it, ordered rather good sales copy but I got stuck with promoting it. I bought some Google ads, but they are clicked very poorly (I got only 32 clicks from it so far and not conversion of course). And I do not have enough skills to do seo/linkbuilding/etc.

So I got 2 questions:
1) Could You suggest any available (but not too expensive) sources of quality traffic for me to only validate the idea?
2) Is that possible to find a qualified person who will care about promoting/seo/etc. on performance-based salary while I will be creating product?

Thanks

    1) Your Warrior Forums Signature - link your page to your signature, its free traffic.

    2) Freelancers - you can find loads of freelance writers on websites like freelancer.com and upwork.com, who will write articles and SEO content for you, and you can pay them per task. I myself am a member of these sites, there are loads of professionals.

As for promoting your service try outsourcing a writer (freelancer) to create blog posts for you around the service. Why it is beneficial, what it can offer customers etc. Useful tips and tricks. Or even learn to blog yourself!

    All the best.

Starting out is the most important step! And it is wonderful that you have taken it.

These days of severe competition, the statement that there is no free launch is becoming truer. Not only that, it is fast becoming the days when you pay for training and you get substandard training for your money's worth. Most will keep the real knowledge secrete.

So your decision to try out performance based salary will go a long way to ensure result-oriented performance. However, it may prove a little difficult to find. But its your better option.

The initial stage is more often difficult. It calls for some extra hard work. So you may have to invest some labor and learn how to drive targeted free and paid traffic to the sales copy. This is also the stage in which I am presently. Stage of learning and not considering quitting.

Finally, I want to remind you that you are on the right part. All the people that have made it at one point or the other must have encountered such challenge. They are now 'gurus' because they persevered. I see you as a guru in the making.
