I have video source files but they don't come with avi or flv files. (I do have MRR rights)
There are only four files in the pack: The html file, the swf file (witch will open the video when clicked), the xml file and the swfobject file (java script file).
is there any way that I can convert one of these files to either avi or flv, in order to
host it on my web site?
Can I, or can I not convert this file to avi?
Thanks for any ideas.

First thing, you DON'T have video "source" files. The "source" files would most likely be AVI and they are what was created when the video was originally shot. The source should be of high quality and ready to be re-encoded to whatever format is best suited.

Second, if you just want to host the video on your site, you already have everything you need. You should be able to load the files you have onto your server and fire away.

Third, if you *really* need to convert the video from SWF to FLV, you can find a good converter with a quick Google search for "swf to flv".

    Hope that helps.

I have checked out "Eltima Software" that converts from flash to avi
but the trial only loaded 1 second worth of information after converting.
Not sure if that is a characteristic of the trial version or I just didn't load the right swf file.
I loaded the swf file that will actually bring up the whole video.
      Anyway,
Rather than just buying the first thing that I see Are there any suggestions
on witch product is a good product?
